    It appears that my bass amp (Orange Terror, 12" cab) is, when combined with a reverb pedal, a reasonable amp for jazz guitar soloing.

    But, I would really like to buy an all-valve guitar amp, and now I have no good excuse.

      What foolish talk is this? Why be satisfied with a 'reasonable amp' when there are delightful all-valve guitar amps to be had!
