Just picked up the Roscoe Beck V from Nik yesterday. I can only say it's the best music related purchase I have ever made. He made it all easy with great communication and was so very welcoming at his house. My 4 year old son even made a new friend in "Lazerbeak" which is priceless. Thanks Nik

Just spoke to Marshall they said the speakers are £90 each not quiet as bad as I thought. But they did say that it really must have been one hell of a bang it took, never heard of anything like it before with this stuff. Just hope the crossover and all the other stuff isn't damaged.

Just received a Eden 210XLT through a courier today. Before I even open the box i noticed the box was a bit dirty (bad sign No1) move the box and something rolled around in the package (bad sign No2) Opened the package its looks perfect but something is really rolling around in there. That old girl has certainly seen some action, not the best job done on the added EQ which a shame. It's probably worth "somewhere" near there on a good day.

My experience is mixed I bought an amp from them which on the whole was a good experience etc like others. I bought some strings online, not so great they sent an incorrect set for what was listed. I have to send back the strings at my expense (which I suppose is ok) but they wouldn't send the correct set until they had received the incorrect set back and I had paid the "£1" difference for the different/correct set. I did mention that I needed the strings asap as I had a weekend with loads of work etc but deaf ears I suppose. Had to suck it up as mistake to buy from there. Shame as I was about to make a few big purchases from them in the speaker department. Now I think ill try elsewhere, i'd be stupid to mess around with them with big money when they do that over something that is pure customer service issues.

To be honest I wouldn't know ovangkol if it hit me in the face. When I said the custom shop I was meaning when the really started separate things with custom shop/pro series/rock bass stuff I know they did plenty of custom stuff before that. But they seemed to follow Fender in the custom shop, in doing it more openly commercial. As for this bass I entered the serial in the website link and got exactly the same result as the email from Warwick. With that here are some Photo's of the neck as requested. To me it looks like flame maple in the middle with birds eye either side. I do appreciate all the help with it guys thanks.

No I the middle of the neck is standard ovankol or what it's called but sandwiched between Birdseye

My Streamer Jazzman. I know hardly anything about it really.I was told on the Warwick forums this is possibly one of the very first Custom shop basses made. They were apparently around the shows like NAMM etc showing what they could do. I have no paper work of any kind with it i would like to know more so if anyone knows anything about it. Let me know. I've had it years now bought it off some guy on ebay for a stupidly low price (which was unbelievable and i'm still shocked). Im guessing its an ash body. AAA Birdseye neck and the top i'm not sure

My Sei made a fair while ago now. Back in the early 2000s. It has piezo's in the bridge, LEDs and is just amazing nothing sounds close too it.
