  1. Thanks. Yes, it is a Ken Lawrence Chamberbass (built in 2000). Here's a pic of the bass without the ramp. Trying to keep everyone in this thread happy. M. M.
  2. Did not know ramps were no longer a thing. Don't be a ramp hater-player. Be a ramp-facilitator. 🙂 M. M.
  3. Ugly, misguided headstock shapes have been the undoing of many otherwise good-looking basses. 😒 M. M.
  4. I could put my basses on wall hangers, but then they would be more subject to temperature and humidity changes. And collect dust. And be more prone to damage in a California earthquake. My basses reside in cases or gig bags (unless being played). 🙂 M. M.
  5. The number one 'in my heart'. Purchased mainly for use at home. Gigged just a few times. Singing lead over the top of fretless bass is a lot of hard work. And I ain't no Gordon Sumner. M. M.
  6. This is the bass I played the most during my 2nd phase of gigging (2004 to 2015). When the pressure was on this instrument got the call. Pics or it didn't happen. M. M.
