    Hi, still want to get the neck off? Schack bolt-ons have a patented covered neck fixing system. You have to remove the neck pick up and then you need a 3mm wrench (as far as I remember). It's just one screw, and you can remove the neck. BTW, Niko is Andy Schack's son, who has taken over the business. Cheers Klaus

If you are looking for the switches to select the mid-frequencies and the high-frequencies, they are at the back of the bass. Works as well as the switches on the front, but looks much better IMHO. Apart from the usual tiny scratches on the pick guard, the bass is almost like new.     The weight of the bass is 4,1kg on y bathroom scales. The bass is well balanced, thus it is very comfortable to play. The fretwork adds to the great playability, low action without any buzz. The string spacing at the bridge is 19mm, but it is adjustable.
