And I know why. This is my old bass and of all the BN5s I've had so far this is by far the best one. Great sound, even better playability. Someone will be very happy.

The bass is located in the north-western part of Germany near the Dutch border. The string spacing is 19mm at the bridge. I don't have any sound clips of the bass as I don't have the proper equipment. But it sounds what it looks like, a modern Jazz Bass, very articulate and well-balanced across the fretboard. BTW, with its weight of just 3,8kg it's very comfortable to play.

Here is my beautiful Tedesco TT5 in very good condition. Sounds great,looks great and everything works fine. The bass was made in 2009, but it shows only minor signs of use. According to the "one in - one out"-rule this ACG RetroB has to go now. I bought the bass from Alan a couple of months ago. As it has never left the house, the bass is in mint condition, almost like new, no dings, no scratches. Sorry, but I don't have any sound files. There are some videos to be found on the Internet which prove that, although belonging to the 'simpler' line of Alembic basses (if there is something like that at all), the Persuader actually does have the Alembic sound.

Here's my 1987 Alembic Persuader Custom V in good condition. It plays and sounds like an Alembic, but as I prefer 4 string basses the string spacing is a bit too narrow for me. This Persuader is equipped with 2 J-pickups and the neck is a 7-piece neck, which makes this Persuader a little bit special. Most Persuaders you come across feature a P/J-configuration and the neck is 3-piece. The bass has been played, and there are cracks in the finish, but nothing that influences the sound or playability. As far as I know everything is original except for the tuners, which don't show the Alembic logo. I have to reduce my number of basses, so here's my beautiful Benavente single cut bass. As far as I know this bass was built for the 2004 Namm show. The bass is in a really good used condition. The bass is very comfortable to play, low action and really lightweight. I think it's hard to find a lighter single cut bass, as this beauty weighs in at just 3,7kg. The sound is very responsive, from nice growly finger tone to killing slap sound. The top is just amazing, a pleasure to look at. It's a proof that nature is capable of creating wonderful pieces of art. Here's my beautiful BN5 with a stunning burl maple top. Of the FBasses I have owned so far this is definitely the best one - great sound and playability. The neck is a dream to play. The preamp is not the usual Volume-Volume for each pickup, but Volume-Balance. The bass is in very good condition and comes with the FBass gig bag. If it was a 4-string I would never part with it, but as I play my 4-string basses most of the time this fantastic bass spends most of the time in its gig bag, which is not what it was built for. If you want to see and hear the bass, just go for Rogier van Wegberg FBass on youtube. I might consider trading the bass for a 4-string FBass, Sadowsky or Ken Smith. New Price: 2850GBP or 3200€
