1. Ok, no worries. Cheers anyhow Also I've managed to get a box so happy to post now, topic updated accordingly
2. Cheers Mr Zed, I will give that a shot. And thanks, I think so too! Chilievans: apologies for being rather slow! Will get on this tomorrow
3. Hi chilievans, I'm not sure. I will see if I can source some packaging material first before offering postage. I'll let you know asap. Cheers, Al
4. Right-o, pics. Also there is slightly more wear to the FB than I had remembered, see pic. Still not at all bad IMO.
5. SOLD ______________________________ Thanks to all for the interest and advice. Hello all, I am selling my Squier VM fretless to help towards buying me a ticket to Brazil to see my girlfriend! It's in good condition, some slight wear on the neck and fretboard from being played (because that's what they're for, innit). It's strung with rounds right now though it spent the majority of its life with flats so the fretboard wear isn't so bad. Modifications: - tortoise shell pick guard - classic plastic jazz bass control knobs (have original knurled metal ones I can include in the sale) - modified headstock logo - DON'T PANIC! I did not rebrand it as a Fender! The Squier logo is still there but as a bit of a design nerd I always hated the Jazz Bass text so replaced it with a 70's style fender Jazz Bass logo/text. Looks far cooler IMO. The only issue with it was I over did the lacquer a bit and it could use a fine sanding down (never gotten around to it) to get a smoother finish. Purely cosmetic however and barely noticeable. Otherwise you probably already know how awesome these basses are if you're looking at it so I won't go on about the tone/build quality etc. except to say it's a lovely bass and the only reason I'm selling itis because I am desperate to get out to Brazil. Enough waffle - price, £150 for quick sale. Pick up/collection from Glasgow/central belt or can post (probably around £15-20 depending on where you are) Will post pics tomorrow evening. Cheers.
6. Sure thing Will — I finished my last uni hand in on Monday (last ever weyhey ) so I have some more time now. I will have a look into what post & packaging might cost As for London I have no trips planned there just yet save for a very brief stop over on my way to Brussels next month...but if that changes I'll let you know.
7. Haha cheers - if it gets to mid September and still no takers I'll consider it as I will have some more time on my hands then - what courier did you go with?
8. Cheers for the bump I had a PM from someone else interested if I could post as well...but for some reason I can't reply as it says its been deleted or something. Odd. It is a bit of a bummer as it is a great cab and I could use the cash (esp seeing as I no longer have a head to use it with) but yes, just a little awkward to post I think! I may well be in London on a few occasions over the next few months so could possibly take it on the train with me for a meet up... Either way as it stands just now, can't post and still stuck in central Scotland!
9. I refuse to believe no one in the Central Belt doesn't want this...you know you do. G'wan g'wan g'wan...
10. Weekend bump. Here is a picture of my cat who assures me that she full endorses the Aguilar DB112.
11. "sir could you put that under the seat infront of you?" "er...no"
12. LM2 Sold —
I've been looking for one of these for an age! Is there no possibility in posting?
I'm afraid I'll have to keep it as pick up only which I realise isn't very practical for you...I'm completely inexperienced at posting things like this so I wouldn't know what the best way to go about it would be and am very busy with work right now with no time to organise such a thing Sorry!
13. PM'd re: the little mark ii As for anyone interested in the Aguilar, here are some semi-decent photographs. Note the slight discolouration on the top of the cab - this was how it was when I bought it from GuitarGuitar, and it's really not very noticeable. If anyone wants any more photos or info please just ask
14. When I said pics soon I actually meant 2 weeks...woops currently abroad so won't be able to take any decent photos til I get back to blighty beginning of next month but here is a picture of the cab — nestled under my drawing board — and my foot... Anyway... Price drop: £300
