SOLD

Ok, So I tried to sell this before I moved house 2 years ago and no takers (http://basschat.co.u...78#entry1940578). It has now sat, unused, and I would really like it to go to a good slap based home. It is a lovely bass, but at 35 inches just to long for me. It deserves to be plucked, popped and hammered, and in return it will punch hard for you! If no takers this time round, it will be donated to the music school round the corner to be abused by some spotty child who wont love it as much as one of you will. Open to any offers. I can get some photos if anyone's interested. Cheers
2. I'm after a quick sale on this, so am very open to offers!
3. For sale £400 Bought on here 18 months ago. Original thread, http://basschat.co.u...47376-ksd-605/. Really good bass, but hardly used as I just can't get on with the 35" scale, too big for my little digits. Hopefully someone with big hands and a big heart can love this like I never could! (I can put some pics up at the weekend if anyone is interested, but there are some on the original thread!)
4. Beautiful. Is it strung B-G? if so how's the b-string tension? also where are you based?
5. sorry, already got rid of my 2x10. I had a chat with the guy I bought it off and he seems to remember the speaker came out of a 2x15 bass bin which was 700watts 4ohm so by process of elimination I reckon it's 8ohm 350watts. I'm almost at the giving it away stage if someone can pick it up before Wed.
6. Hi all, A mate of mine 'borrowed' my Hartke Kickback 12 a while ago and now has decided he wants one. Since i never use it I said he could have mine, but I'm just wondering what to charge? I don't want to give it away as it was the first amp I ever bought and has sentimental value if nothing else. But having said that, it is WELL gigged. Nearly 10 years of gigging, but it's still going strong. So my question is .... How much? Cheers
7. As a guide, I was thinking of about £50 if you can collect from south-east London ish. (I can meet you somewhere if it's helpful)
8. This is well used and well loved Hartke Transporter Cab with a Black Widow speaker (as the previous owner blew the original! huh!) Have no idea of wattage, or ohmage. I presume it's 8ohm as i've used in series with another 8ohm and never blew my amp up. If you want it make me an offer as I really have no idea what it's worth. Only reason i'm selling is I'm moving and want the extra space. Cheers
9.
Hi Thanks for that, could you tell me where are you based ? and are there any issues with the amp as I need something 100% reliable. Thanks again Marti
PM'd
10. Hi, It is 400 watts at 8ohms and I've had it for about 3-4 years. It's been great and will be sadly missed, but I hurt my back and is just a little heavy to lug around as much as I need to. have a few more pics! As you can see all the corners are still on, but a couple are slightly damaged. Doesn't effect the sound though!
11. Well loved and well gigged, relatively good condition. Sounds great, just a bit big for me. £200, preferably cash on collection (S.E. London). More pictures later when i have the energy to unload the pile of cabs on top of it!
12. is it 4 or 5 string? how many bolt holes does it have?
13.
Would it be possible to use something Like a butt kicker with a tube amp for silent recording? Use it as a load for the amp and attach it to a drum seat and feel the bass in the studio but no real sound?
The only time I've used one it was still a little noisey, but if you're DI'd it's not gonna make any difference. It's not loud enough to interfere with a boothed drummer but it will be picked up in the background!
14. I'm doing a show with a silent pit(ish) and using in-ears. This works ok but I really miss feeling the air movement when I'm loud. Has anyone used these, and are they worth the money?
15. Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but..... Basically my amp got knocked off a stage and is now very distorted at all volumes. I've tested the head through another cab and it worked fine so the problem must be the speaker, I tried to a repairer to replace the speaker but he said he couldn't get hold of a replacement and wasn't sure when he might be able to, as they have been on order from Japan for over two months. Thomann do say they should get some in on either the 13-14 aug. However, as I've hurt my back recently i was wondering what you're thoughts were about replacing it with something like http://www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/index...products_id=326 Would this sound good? and would it be any lighter? Also would it be easy to do myself? My soldering at school wasn't too bad, just need to get hold of a new iron! Cheers MAt!
16. I've had 3 acoustics over the last 6 years all strung E-C. Unfortunately the nicest one's were Dean Performer Plus 5 (I've had 2 and both were stolen) which are no longer made. They were 32" and played really well. Almost loud enough to jam with a guitar, no drums. But had a beautiful tone when plugged in, and worked really well in the guitar trio I used it in. Both had a good finish and no buzzing high up the neck even with the relatively low action I'm always on the look out for one, as the Washburn AB-35 i have now is way to big for me (35" scale), even if i do like the tightness of the strings. In fact if you see one on Ebay (other auction sites are available) i will fight anyone for it! I haven't tried the one's on your list, but I will definitely be having a look at the Crafter as the 32" does appeal to me.
17. All very good ideas, however ...... I use La Bella Slappers on my 5 and as it turns out, they do make a 6 string set it's just my normal web shop doesn't sell them. (I thought they stocked the whole range!) So i had to get them at Bass Gallery at 1.5 the price! But i'm all happy again, so what price d'you put on happiness?
18. I've just bought a 6 string fretless and now discovered that the strings i use on my 5 don't exist as a 6 set. so.... my question is what would you recommend?
