Really enjoying this little 600w amp.

Mine was delivered today.

First impression are.

1. No mute switch. Not a big deal but would of been nice.

2. Tone is not flat when tone controls are set at noon. Roll off the bass and treble to 9 o'clock position and it sounds uncoloured to me.

3. LED blur lights are stupid and bright. WHY?

4. Di is post tone only. Again WHY?

5. Fan is very quiet. Great for studio or home.

More importantly it sounds very clean and punchy with my Euphonic Audio cab.

For the price it is a clear winner.

It's a pitch black 

It does seem very strange that a tuner when powered up defaults to bypass.

When I power on my pedal board the tuner pedal defaults to bypass so the bass can be heard. 

Do you know of a tuner pedal that defaults to off ( mute ) on switch on.

I have owned the Avalon U5, and have the Jule Amp Monique. Also had the BasSwitch, EBS MB2 and MB3, TwoNotes LeBass, Sadowsky, 3LeafAudio Enabler, Bassics Pro BPA-1, the Goliath etc. The BP1 is a different beast compared to Monique. She is more a pristine valve amp in a small format, that can be a little bit dirty. All the others are "pedals" in comparison. The BP1 is a very clean but powerful piece of gear that just makes the bass sound bigger, better and "beautifuller"... Hence the Wow! Most preamps nowadays induce ugly preamp/input gain distortion and try to convince us they really are SVT's in a small box. Since I don't fancy overdriven SVT tone, but like the pristine clean powerful bass, the BP1 is the right thing for me.

Was even cheaper when I got it. Fits everything: Amp, cables, papers/folders, iPad, earplugs, picks, vocalzone, bottle of water, towel, bottle opener etc. great piece of kit!
