  1. Trex bassjuice. Very handy fuzz pedal. Has an on/off and boost circuit and crucially a blend control. Selling as I’ve got too many fuzz/drive options.

I used this all over my bands last three albums and gigs.

Listen to “movement five” on this Page for an example of this pedal:

not subtle and loves a really hot signal into it. I always ran a sans amp bassvt into it and it really adds a lot of flavour.

No box or manual, no battery compartment cover (I always used a 9volt psu, it has Velcro on the bottom and a few paint chips. Sounds good though!

A spanker would cost £180! Edit. Thomann are banging these out for 62 on a special at the moment. Price adjusted.

Collection from GU47 or I can post within the price. Cash on collection or Paypal (no friends and family). Ta!

  2. I had a mod. flea bass for a while a few years back. Utterly, utterly superb with impeccable build, evenness across all strings, amazing balance but I still ending up selling it. I could never get it to sit right in a band. It always ended up sounding really grating with a huge amount of treble that I could never dial out. I had the treble almost fully cut and bass and mids heavily boosted to get it anywhere near finding the space.
I still miss it, just for the way it played and the look and especially given how much they’re worth now!

  3. Camden barfly. 1 set of stairs for bands and punters. They often do a full lineup of 3 bands, then a changeover to a club night around 11 with different bands and a full audience change over. As it’s late, both crowds have very whizzed up punters. Cue three bands trying to load out, 200ish punters down 1 set of stairs, while the promoter is trying to get another 200 punters and 3 bands of gear up the same stairs at the same time. You don’t have time to get vehicles before this starts if you’re the headline so you load into the street.
Cue unlucky band members watching the pile of gear outside the venue while the others get the cars. Gear everywhere, scary folks eyeing up guitar cases, people voming in the street, oh and it’s raining.

  4. I’ve decided to keep the head from this combo but sell the cab. Someone out there could drop another head into it, or chop off the bit at the top of the cab or just live with it as is. Might suit a rehearsal room for an awesome big cab that’s going to stay put.

    8ohms.

73x57x43cm without the castors. Add another 5cm with the castors. Approx weight 30-35kg.

    The good:

sounds great, no significant tears in the covering. Has castors although these are getting tired. You can add a head to it if you wish!
Aguilar cabinets are silly money new!

The bad - Note that the horn doesn’t work! I bought it in this condition and have used it at home for a couple of years.

Ignore the head in the pics, this is for the cabinet only!

Collection from sandhurst, you’re welcome to try it with the ag500 head which is staying with me!

Pricewise, I’ve seen a few gs212 cabs sell in similar condition for 350-400. Given this has the extra bit for the amp which may be a pain/ inconvenience to some people I think the current price is very reasonable!

Possible trades for decent 1x12 cab, this is being sold to downsize.
