1. So a bit of a shuffle in the rack then ! Looks lovely mate , never tried a Lakland but judging by those sound clips you've plenty to play around with there.
 2.
Hi Very sorry but no clips currently, sadly lacking, something I need to work for my website upgrade. Below is a quote from a French pro player who bought a Marcus Retro last year, in fact he bought a U-Retro too, for another bass in the end too. >>> I recently upgrade my Fender Marcus Miller V. A good instrument but just one sound, and a a big lack of the Marcus Miller clarity , and the bridge pickup was not "jaco" enough. So i decided to put a MM retro w/o plate. John helped me to choose it too !!! a true gentleman. It's a wonderfull sounding bass now. I can go "hi-fi" and vintage organic sounding with a just some tweaking. This bass will be my meat and potato instrument i can go from Motown sounds to sizzly Marcus slapping tones without changing my bass in some live situation. Nicolas Chelly session bass player touring with Terry Lee Hale. Paris France. <<< I'm sure I have other quotes too, but need to segment them unit by unit, again something I've promised myself I will do. Probably better to talk to me on the my section of the forum here. Cheers John
Cheers for coming across and answering this , sound clips would be a real plus , but this sounds promising , I'll probably be in touch on your section of the forum when i get some money together. Many thanks

However the EQ02 is derived directly from the 01 and uses the same circuit. This will be the third Sei with one of my pre-amps in it. Bigredx has one in his new fretless and Neil Murray has another and now your good self. Alan
Hi does anyone know of any sound clips of the east marcus retro 01 preamp or would it sound like the above , would be interested to know if anybody has fitted one of these to a marcus miller , and what they think , Cheers
 4. Hi don't know if this helps but i have a redbox mk3 that i use with my old ampeg valve amp ,I take the speaker output from the amp into the speaker in of the redbox , and then the balanced di output goes to the desk . Have successfully used this combination live and studio, enables me to get the tube sound from the amp.
 5.
I am sorry Machines , to be honest I didn't thought to sell the bass in 2 hours! Anyway if you were offering to me your MM, I am sure today you were the owner of my ex- fender Marcus Miller!!! :-) I am going to search finally my future Musicman Stingray! ;-)
Well i finally got my hands on a Marcus Miller, and I love it ! Just came back from a band practice and the bass is mega , quite powerful electronics that I will have to get the hang of. Anyway thanks to Antonio (who's a lovely chap by the way ) for letting me take this off his hands , and good luck in his quest for his ultimate Music Man Cheers !
 6.
Hi all, I am going to put on the market my Fender Jazz Marcus Miller IV Strings MIJ, I think everyone knows it but anyway you can read all features here: http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0257802321 The bass is one year old in mint condition used only at home, bought from Dawsons in Manchester. I'll sell with the original Fender Gig Bag more or less like this one: http://www.elderly.com/fmic/items/images/5...3SB_gig-bag.jpg and with set of DR String Hi-Beam put on less the one month ago (medium 45-105). The price new of the bass is more or less between £679 (gak.co.uk) and £799 (Dawsons UK). I am selling it for not less then £480 plus delivery cost in UK but to be honest the pick up in Manchester area would be great I don't really trust to send it. I could be interested also about some trade but only with one of this 2 models: Musicman Stingray 4 strings (rosewood fretboard and natural color prefered) in this case of course i'll pay an honest difference on it. or a trade with another model of Fender Jazz Bass MIA or MIJ (only passive and 4 strings) also in this case rosewood fretboard and natural color prefered. If the value of the bass offered will be higher then mine i'll pay a difference...but everything it depends from the offers. In both cases I am not interested in fretless basses. Some pictures of the Marcus Miller here: http://www.schizzechea.it/MM/MM01.jpg http://www.schizzechea.it/MM/MM02.jpg http://www.schizzechea.it/MM/MM03.jpg http://www.schizzechea.it/MM/MM04.jpg If you are interested send me a PM I can also send more pictures. I am based in Stockport - Manchester. Thank you! Antonio
YOU HAVE A PM
Was it Dave Sheriff ?
Don't know who I spoke to to be honest , either way he was pretty made up about these , and couldn't talk highly enough of them, and I think he sounded pretty genuine. Are you gonna buy one first or me ?
