Hi Tomas. Cheers for the comments.
Unfortunately, I don't have any sound samples despite having the opportunity to get some. I took this bass to the SW Bass Bash where it suited someone who tried it and wanted to by it. I did hold onto it for long enough though to take it to the Midlands Bass Bash where Lee-Man played it and I wish I had recorded it as he made it sound so nice!!
When I complete these I won't make the same mistake again and will get sound samples made!!
Thank You! You really should get patented that body shape - it`s perfect every way and won't be surprised if this design will be stolen from You! and forget to mention headstock shape should be patented too!!!

Hi,
Still unsure as received an email from revelationguitars.co.uk (strings come from their fretless bass):
QuoteHi Tomas,
The photos that you linked to on our website show D’addario strings?? They are silver/nickel in colour, the end are covered in a Black silk, the Revelation factory purchase these strings in bulk so as such it could well be that they appear slightly different to a stock packet of strings you would usually find in a retail store.

Could be Status Hotwire flats, they have black silks at both ends.
I think You are right!
They are really decent strings must say - handmade in The UK
-
I did my homework but no avail... still do not know what are they...
-
Hello,
Anyone please, what brand of the strings is this?(measured with the caliper and they are 45-105):
They look like these ones (more-less):
Thanks

Hmmmm, I don't know - sorry. MOST OEM scratchplates need some redrilling 1-5 holes from my experience. In 50s reissue bass, someone drilled extra 2 holes - that`s it.
You can avoid that by buying Genuine Fender... for £50(?)

unknown black sold!

Used but not abused, some scratches only seen at an angle. Was fitted on 50s reissue Mexican P-Bass (with drilled extra holes)

If this only will have small vintage frets and based in N. Ireland... my beloved 50s P-Bass will be in trouble. Great work done plus great videos and photos. That`s the way everyone should sell instruments

Curious to know why? I love the feel and finish of my C/V P bass neck - even with my small hands its so easy to play.
I love to play rosewood on that bass but maple looks so good plus Matt's neck was the best made ever seen even compare to usa standard bass maple neck, plus vintage frets - I LOVE them and only them. That's why im not looking for usa or Mexican made neck 😉 EXCEPT Fender Dee Dee Ramone Precision (made in Mexico)

Possibly it being "fetless" has something to do with it.
Sloppy removal of frets from now on is defined as "immaculate" work - you learn every day, do not you?
-
Hi,
Anyone please could you explain to a foreign man why people use word: "immaculate" to a destroyed bass fretboard?
