1. This is just a jaw dropping bass - simply gorgeous. Bit of an impulse buy when the tax man gave me a refund. However, as is their want, the HMRC are asking for *precisely* the same amount they refunded back!!! When will I learn! I bought this from bass direct a few months ago. It is immaculate. I've played a couple of gigs with it and played it now and then in the house. To be honest, its so nice I'm afraid to touch it! 3 band EQ Ebony finger board Toasted Maple neck It plays and sounds like a good stingray. Ideally, I'm looking to trade for a Status S2 Classic, headless. Either that or a cash sale. I'm near Dundee. I can ship in its hard case. I'll get some pics up soon. In the mean time, here is the actual bass from bass direct:
2. I love this P bass, but I have my old faithful that I would never get rid of. Had from new, played half a dozen gigs with it. It is just a great example of a precision. Upgrades: - hipshot tuners (dropped straight in) - Delano Pickup - Mirror Scratchplate (still have the original and also the Bridge cover) No issues at all. Plays brilliantly. Cant see how spending 1600 quid on MIA gets you any better than this. Price Includes delivery. I'd put it back to stock and sell for 320 (delivered) With original pickup and Hipshot tuners - 400 delivered. Based in Dundee. Trades: I'm really trying to thin the herd, but try me - you never. I regret not having a Warwick........
3. ***265 delivered****** Fantastic 5 string jazz with active EMGs and Hipshot himass bridge (option for string through if you modify the body). Battery compartment neatly routed in the back. Plays great, sounds like a Jazz with EMGs (which is good enough for Guy Pratt, and Betsy sounds great!) Based near dundee. Comes with beat up gig bag. Price includes delivery. 4. Got this as a trade but prefer my GK MB800 fusion. Works fine. Price includes delivery. Based near Dundee [attachment=248867:TC 750.jpg]
5. I have one - it is the best amp I have had so far, and I've had a few. I use it in preference to my Eden WT800. I have had a Reidmar 750 which sounded great, but just wasnt for me. I traded the Reidmar for a TC RH750, and again is a good sound but the MB800 Fusion sounds more appropriate for my playing style. It is bright and gets very agressive if needed. The EQ is voice well and it has *heaps* of volume. I usually play with 2 x Big Baby II (due to a very loud drummer) - I am never past 10 o clock. Even with 1 cab/8 ohms it is plenty loud, and with a sensible volume band I'm not past 10 o clock on the master out! Lighweight, compact, loud and sounds great. Oh, and the lights look great How much worth it is spending the extra money over the MB800 standard, I'm not sure - I feel I can hear the tubes in the preamp section, but that just might be psychoacoustics!
6. Probably gonna regret this, but up for sale is this lovely and rare Yamaha BB 2024CX in satin black. I bought this to go along side my 2025x, but I cant justify having both! Sounds amazing, plays great. best sounding passive bass there is IMHO. Apart from some very minor scratches on the back, this is mint. Comes with case and case candy and owners certificate. Based near Dundee. Can courier for cost (probably around 20 quid). If you want more pics, just message me and I can email you. Trades: Possibly could be interested in a Headless Status S2 Classic
7. Seymour Duncan do the Quarter Pound 5 string P-bass. Great pickup! I have a used one for sale if you are interested.

9. May be a silly question, but would a decent pre-amp pedal (such as a sadowsky, tech21, Tonebone) be sufficient to drive an active PA speaker - specifically a Barefaced FR800. I've recently bought these and just received the FR1400 sub. Not tried the sub yet, but the FR800s impressed the hell out of me and my band mates. I own a pair of BB2s which is my gigging rig. These are needed to get over our incredibly loud drummer. We just use a vocal PA and the backline volume is set against the drums. Just for shits and giggles, I'd like to try using the FR1400 and FR800 combined as my back line - just once Not sure what I've got to drive it though - DI post EQ from an amp? If not, I'd need to get a decent pre amp pedal. I did try my behringer tech 21 clone, but I dont think its got enough juice - there was not the volume I expected coming out the speakers. My other bands will be using the full Barefaced rig, with everything through the PA and quite back line. I'm considering going in ears, but not sure. I do love my BB2 cabs Next gig I'll need the sub for is next month, and I want to fire it up and feel the flap!
10. BUMP! and price drop. If anyone has a Thumb 5 or Status S2 I might be interestd.

12. Bought new, been in my Squier VM 5 string - just fancy a change. 75 quid, delivered. Here's them (and me) in action: https://www.youtube....h?v=iJSGskGwFLw
13.
That's really good! what are your OC2 settings?
CHeers man. Octave 1 and direct level maxed out, octave 2 is off
14.
I've got to learn this for an upcoming gig so if you have the dots or tab that'd be appreciated. I'm only really beginning to learn to read dots but thought it would be a good lesson for me. Ideally if you have both.....oh yeah then I have to transpose it to another key as the band want to do it in D
Sorry mate, I worked it out by ear - just look at what my hands are doing, should make it easier to work out.
