1. Hiya,

I've decided to operate in a 'one in one out' kind of way. So this is sadly up for grabs....

It's a 2007 Eastwood EEB-1 LH based on the classic 60's Ampeg Scroll bass. This was specially imported for me. It's in A1 condition, is well built, plays brilliantly, sounds excellent and gets lots of positive comments ! I bought this as it's the closest I'll (a southpaw) ever get to the real thing.

    Full Eastwood details - here.

I'm looking for £325 ono - collected, as i've only got the original cardboard box it came in.

    Ta !

  3.
So have you got one of the Trabens as well?
Hi, sadly the chance of buying a retail space bass is non-existant being left handed ! I had one built for me copying Bootsy's classic Pless-built 70's bass and the Washburn. But obviously without the seperate output ( ...+ ampeg svt + mad fx) for every pick-up.

Are you getting a case with your purchase !!???? I'm still on the lookout for one lol. :)

  4.
Just a heads up for you sinister types ..
Cardiff Guitars has a pre-loved Sandbrg California JJ4

"Sandberg California JJ4 LEFT HANDED. 'Creme' gloss finish with matching headstock. Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Recent model 4 string in very good condition. Sorted out to play & sound fine in our workshop. Complete with original Sandberg gig bag. £599"

It's got the Delano JMVC 4 FE/M2 type pickups.

Looks in good nick. The E string seemed a bit loud compared to the rest but it's odd trying a lefty right handed so YMMV..

Pretty sure that'll be my old custom Sandberg - great bass, nice shop, as fate had it I accidentally walked past this shop and one thing led to another (an orange MM Bongo)!

  5. ...I know this isn't really the place, but this really takes some beating if anyone is up for an overpriced Stu Hamm 70's work-in-progress !!!

  6. Hiya,

Up for sale is one of these...

I bought it used off another Basschatter last year - no issues it's just not getting used due to my Line6 X3 live...!!!

    £125 posted ??!!!

    Cheers !

  7. Wilkinson vintage open precision/jazz bass guitar tuners, Replacement for precision & jazz basses, ultra smooth action with full size base plates and elephant ear tuning keys. Includes press-in bushings and mounting hardware.

    See - http://www.jhs.co.uk/wilkinson.html - style WJBL200CR

Bought about 2 weeks ago never fitted - I've changed my mind and am now probably going to use Grover Titan style ones instead, doh.

    £14 posted ??!!!

  8.
er, sorry to hijack the thread but will any power amp work with a POD/Bass VT front end? Are there specific bass power amps? I've just got a 900w 6x10 @ 4-ohms, could anyone suggest a suitable amp?

    Cheers,
    Ben!
You could buy a specific bass power amp or just a generic power amp - I'd happily suggest something like a Crown XLS....£ friendly and almost bombproof !

  9. Hiya,

This is also listed in amongst the lefty section above !

1996 Music Man Stingray 5 Fretless

This is mint and has a great mid 90's birdseyed neck. I'd keep it if I could get an original MM 5 fretted neck.

I'm asking £750 and would prefer any buyers to collect (or arrange a meet) as this bass hasn't got a case etc. I may be interested in swaps or px's of the southpaw variety (or 4x10 4ohm cabs...!!!!). Anyone interested is more than welcome to come and check it out...
