I'm gutted that I can't make this - if only he'd be doing further gigs a bit closer to me - not often you get the chance to see a proper legend !
Anyone who is going - please give us a review ! -
...any use fellow southpaws ?

I do get a sense of deja vu - it may have been listed some time ago ? -
The Wurzels.
I'm thinking of doing a heavy Wurzels tribute - 'Metal Scrumpy' or 'Electric Cider'
I'll get my coat... -
...thought it was a Peavey T40 at first.
Argh, the exact price I said to myself would be a bit too much to afford. It's strange, could I really say it's £650 better than the Kramer? I mean with other basses I can say 'well it's better woods, better electronics' but with a passive precision where does the extra money go?
I can't argue against that, as true value is judged by the beholder. But a bass like that will always hold a certain commerciality/desirability (ie value) from the beginning... -
GAAAAAAAAS.
How much do you think it's going for? Probs gonna ring up tomorrow anyway
£750 i think - very nice to be fair ! -
...just a quick heads-up. Promenade Music (Morcambe) have a used lefty Diamond Anniv USA P bass sunburst - pretty much mint condition - if it was a jazz I wouldn't be telling you this !!!!
-
Scratch plate kinda reminds me of something around a Gretsch TK ??!!!
-
Bought a Warwick Streamer 5 off Josh - absolute pleasure and top marks for a fellow lefty.

+1 my '78 J is sodding heavy, but I like it that way !
-
+1 for Orianthi !
Found it fascinating myself (being ex stage management). Nice to see lots of vintage Synths for low end, still working on my MB SuperSynth for those tones !!!! -
Ahh.. Musical Exchanges, Bass Centre in Wapping, Dave's Music Centre, Buckley ....those were the days !
-
Missing Black Ric lookout....???

SOLD!!!!
This bass was created to resemble an existing early 60's left handed Jazz that was for sale a few years ago in V&R Bath – and they wanted silly money. So I got to work putting together my own version using quality parts...
Generic body unknown origin, was already routed, drilled and painted sunburst.
Neck was bought specifically All Parts ‘62 profile (this alone cost around £250 I think – and is the best Jazz neck I’ve ever played).
Tuners are reverse long shaft vintage replicas (these weren't cheap !).
Bridge is quality 60’s replica
Pick-ups are Mexican Fender
Mint green scratchplate
All this was finished off in a more of a Dakota red than Fiesta red paint job, nitro’d with correct period decals. Neck reverse oversprayed to create ageing. Bass was going to be completely relic’d but here’s another thing I never got round to... Bass has been gigged and was briefly used with a Roland midi pick-up (2 screw holes by bridge).
Overall it’s not perfect and could really do with a decent set-up or maybe it could be used as a donor for other things. £270ono or could split bass from parts ??!!! Or I’m happy to use this (and a Line6 X3 Live) as a px for decent 5 string or fretless4 ??!!!.
More pics/info - just ask !

I've got a lot of time for the ABBA ! Great tunes and great musos.
Always thought that the US band 'Foxy' were the studio musicians for 'Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) ?!!! -
Bugger - sorry to hear this - I'm following all reports on these heads as a future purchase....
-
Bit of a surprise that one. And it's not even star-shaped !!!

Maybe Fender need a kick up the rear (...or time has healed), but Bootsy and Larry Graham are both previously majorly associated with their (60/70's Jazz) basses that they'd eventually of come to some sort of agreement over 'signiture' models.
Not that i'd rush out and buy one - just would be nice to see them honored that way.
Same goes with Louis Johnson and Music Man... -
Got an awesome Carvin LB75LF 5-String if you're interested (or anybody on here) before i put her on the Bay.
Beautiful fretless..neck through body,Ebony board etc. Bought a Sandberg custom thinline fretless5 so the Carvin needs a home.
Not even i can justify 2 fretless 5's. Looking around £280..Bargain!!
Thanks for the offer - it's a 4 i'm after (had a lovely MMSR5FL that I traded last year !) - cheers. -
Bump for a great amp.
And an even better picture ! -
Anyone got a fretless 4 for sale ?

...2010 gas kicking in. -
I think this one has been mentioned within the southpaw circle.
He's missed a few obvious ebay listing fundaments...like using the word 'left' on its own and maybe throwing 'lh' and 'lefty' in for good measure.
Quality axe but limited user market, limited design appeal and limited cash. -
Sterling work !
