  1. Timtims No guitar trades, I must offload basses. (This must seem like sacrilege but I'm in a financial/job pickle). Jack
  2. Offers and questions welcome. Cheers Jack
  3. More information on FU4. Weight = 3.9kg or 8.6 lbs Cheers Jack
  4. +2 on Birchwood Casey Tru oil. I believe it's what Musicman recommend on their website.
  5. Just bought Two MIM Jazz pickups from David. The deal went seamlessly, rapid delivery, many thanks. Pleasure doing business. Jack
  6. Cheers, would rather keep but I can't really.
  7. For sale my Modulus Flea Bass 4 Here are the specifics: Seymour Duncan Basslines MM pickup, Aguilar OBP-1 preamp 18v, silver metallic finish This has never left the house and is in mint condition, I bought it in Dec 2013 and I believe it was the last new one ever sold in the UK. EDIT, I have received a PM from Chiliwailer and he informed me that this bass is a 2006 and is therefore an FB4 not an FU. We have discussed the fact that the bass was most likely a "display bass" however it is is in immaculate condition. I feel it is important to pass on the wisdom of the Chiliwailer. Edit 28/05/15. I emailed the seller Sims in Kent and he replied to my query regarding 2006 on serial number and purchase in 2013: "I am not to sure as to how to answer you as I do not know how Modulus internally date their necks. All the basses we have ever had here were newly purchased from Modulus either by custom order or if we were very lucky they may have had a stock bass available. Modulus basses never hung around long here but whatever the age the neck is this should not impact on the validity of the bass as they may have made the necks in larger batches waiting for orders but I cannot confirm this as this would have been an internal matter with Modulus." It's great and in the ideal world I would keep it but not having any steady work for 10 months forces this very reluctant sale. I'm not looking for trades I'm afraid, although I wouldn't dismiss cash and a Markbass combo (102P).

  11. Anybody know where I can get one of the above? It's flat head not hex and would imagine it's imperial not metric. Cheers Jack
  12. I know the Skimmity hitchers, seen you a few times in Dorchester over the last couple of years. I may well come along on the 5th, Goldies is a few minutes from my house. A quick look at the amp in exchange for an apple based drink (not Magners)? Cheers Jack

  16. Electricity and interweb but apparently no Markbass owners.
  17. Does anyone in Dorset own a cmd102p or equivalent head and 2x10 cab? I read how great they are but no one stocks them here (Absolute music do but by order only). Would love to have a go on one, I will bring Jaffa cakes or a biscuit of your choice in exchange for a test drive. Can bring my old GK200mb and a stingray or a Modulus (may be of interest to you if you haven't tried one out) Cheers Jack
  18. Bump I found the receipt for this bridge, bought from Pincotts in August 1997!
