  1. my ASAT bass needs the volume backed off a bit as the MFD pickups go microphonic at high volumes.this also tames the aggressive in your face growl a fair bit.I've now taken to use it in passive mode mostly and it sounds perfect.I really love the depth and variation in tone on the L2K/ASAT

  2. before the LX and Pro M basses they used to have a Streamer Bolt on,which had a cherrywood body.

    the press ads here in the UK used to show it along with a Thumb BO,Corvette Proline and Fortress basses( I drooled over that ad) iirc that would be about '94

  3. for me this is a no brainer - streamer standard has a cheap looking bridge and carolena wood body that looks like stripped pine and felt like it to touch- imo you did the right thing and got an ash bodied warwick with the 2pc bridge/tailpiece.I owned both at varying times and the corvette Std was far superior to the streamer std.you'd need at least a LX or a ProM to get a better streamer than the corvette you got

    used G&L L2000 - covers all the sounds you're ever likely to need and then some.
