  5. No trades thanks. Mid-Norfolk location. Can post this for about £11. It's only a few months old. 5 strings just not happening for me ;-( I have an identical 4 string which is a beast and I love it (Still after a red one as a spare!). Strings still perfect and bright.

  7. ALL PICS AT BOTTOM. Gig bag now included. Not really open to trades unless you have a Squire VM bass in red with maple board (genuinely no other bass though, not even a "would you be interested in..." thanks ;-). I can post in a proper guitar box for £12 uninsured or about £17 insured. BASED IN NORFOLK. I use this bass at a weekly 3 hour practice as my other basses were hurting my back. It's a storming bass but I struggle with no fret markers (my main bass being a fender with maple neck). I only realised the other day that I rely on the fret markers so much it's causing me problems when playing. Yes, I know I can add fret markers, but it's also the maple board which I like too on the fender. Lightweight bass (at 7lb, 3.2kg I am told) with excellent punchy sound. Passive, but it takes a battery for the light-up controls which dim as you turn them (weird..., but funky weird). Excellent condition. Listen to it in action here: [url="https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Ftime_continue%3D3%26v%3D47tKorh9vgo&h=4AQFmNjP7&enc=AZMWn6ts8BnmFlEI1RJMetJoVTn9MbLFn3G_cbmJvrvMrx6jUtwPNObcFaWc6YkQbDfxofri9ODqySE-xYFjSpT2T4XOEtE2hjPIyFhPecECOjsI_-TLea7-1IM5YJARKHesXLOdbU4V7qUgx1AlfA4vqrlbf9zE-TcLRl33Z9STUA&s=1"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=47tKorh9vgo[/url] Whilst not a shortscale bass, it's not quite as long as a fender but still feels the same to me which is weird! Here is Yamahas blurb. Yamaha has shattered the "heavier-the-better" conventional wisdom with an advanced technology called Alternative Internal Resonance, or A.I.R. for short. A.I.R. combines lightweight and resonant softwoods sandwiched between harder tonewoods creating an instrument loaded with sustain and tone while maintaining an ultra lightweight construction. The medium scale version of the RBX4A2 has an 825.5mm scale length that is 38.1mm shorter than the RBX4A2. Its compact body and neck offer excellent playability, while it's A.I.R. structure delivers light weight and superior comfort. Tone production is inherently A2-thick, clear, and punchy. The RBX4A2M is highly recommended for those with smaller physiques or for players pursuing technical playing styles or physically active performance. Construction Bolt-on Scale Length 32 1/2" (825.5mm) Radius 10" (250mm) Frets 23 Pickups Ceramic Bar Single x 2 Controls Front Volume (with LED), Rear Volume (with LED), Master Tone Fingerboard Rosewood Body A.I.R. Body Neck Maple Bridge A.I.R. Mounting System Bridge
  8. SOLD !!! PICS AT BOTTOM. Mid-Norfolk. No offers or trades (unless you have a Squire Vintage Modified Bass in Red with maple neck or a Marcus Miller Fender!). I can post this and include a gig bag for a tiny bit extra. I use this bass at practice as my other basses were hurting my back. It's a storming bass but I struggle with no fret markers (my main bass being a fender with maple board). I only realised the other day that I rely on the fret markers so much it's causing me problems. Yes, I know I can add fret markers, but it's also the colour of the maple board which I like too on the fender with big blocks on it, it just makes it easier for me!). Lightweight bass (at 7lb, 3.2kg so I ahve read) with excellent punchy sound. Passive, but it takes a battery for the light-up controls which dim as you turn them (weird..., but funky weird). Completely sorted my back issues out, so I now practice sitting down instead!
