I use this bass at practice as my other basses were hurting my back. It's a storming bass but I struggle with no fret markers (my main bass being a fender with maple board). I only realised the other day that I rely on the fret markers so much it's causing me problems. Yes, I know I can add fret markers, but it's also the colour of the maple board which I like too on the fender with big blocks on it, it just makes it easier for me!). Lightweight bass (at 7lb, 3.2kg so I ahve read) with excellent punchy sound. Passive, but it takes a battery for the light-up controls which dim as you turn them (weird..., but funky weird). Completely sorted my back issues out, so I now practice sitting down instead!
