1. Thanks. The colour is a bit of here. I edited the pics on my laptop without a calibrated monitor. Its not that saturated colour in real life. Yepp, it would a 90's model
2.
Good news! I would love one of these also but havent managed to raise the cash yet... look forward to the pictures.
Thanks! They are quite expensive, but not concidering what they did cost new. I was lucky enough to have a Fender American Standard Jazz 2012 to trade otherwise I wouldn´t be able to afford this one either. I love Jazz basses but have always wanted a TRB. I also need a 5 string.
3. So I got the TRB 5P today. It´s a beauty. I have only played through the computer with earphones yet, but tomorrow I have a gig and will testdrive it through a Marshall 400w amp on a pretty big stage. I´ll come back with pics of the bass, and to tell you how I liked it on the gig. Best regards/Daniel
4.
Play around with preamp, you'll read that lots of people want to change it for something more versatile, but there's no need, play around with cutting and boosting frequencies at the same time, you'll find it's plenty versatile.
I will get it home tomorrow. I will play a little with the preamp. Great to hear thank you. Best regards/Daniel
5. Thanks for all the quick answers. It was like I thought. Then it will be the trb 5p. Its the first generation of them I guess. Its a red one. Best regards/Daniel
6. Im going to trade my Fender for obe of these because I need a 5-string. I know that TRB 5P is the more expensive one but how does the much newer 1005j hold up against it? Is it worth still getting the 5P? Best regards/Daniel
7. Hello bass friends! Thought I´d share our bands first singel "Time To Go" from our forthcoming debut album "Breaking and Entering". It will also be released on Spotify. Hope you like it. 8.
Wrong - NS2000/4 is not a bolt on. As Cosmo V states .... it's an NS2000 Q4.
Ahh. Sorry. Missed the bolt on sentence.
9. If this one has a contoured body it's probably a NS2000/4. I had one of these. Great bass.
10. I'm also really gasing for this one. So much that the thought of selling my American Special P to be able to afford this one has crossed my mind.
11. I don´t have them all in one pic, but here they are. 2012 American Standard Jazz 2011 American Special Precision 1997 Warwick Streamer LX
12. Here´s my new (for me), American Special Precision. Got it today. And heres my American Standard Jazz.
13. Here´s my new (to me) Fender American Special P bass. Got it today.
14. My American Standard 2012 also have that hole.
15. Thanks for your answer. Well selling instruments in sweden sucks. The prices are dropped so much you never get what its worth. Best regards/Daniel
16. I have a newly aqquired Warwick Streamer LX4. German made from 1997. I really love the sound of the bass and it plays wonderfull. But since also getting an American Standard Jazz I realised I'm more of a Fender player. I am therefor in the market of trading my Warwick for a Fender Precision Bass. The models I'm interested in is Every American model. A Roadworn or the Nate Mendel Signature. I will only trade without paying or recieving any money in between. The problem is that the swedish market is pretty small. Since hanging here a lot I came up with the idea if it is possible to trade with someone in UK. So my question is. Have anyone here traded with someone in Sweden? Is it possible? How did you do it? For the right bass I could possibly fly to London and meet up tondo the trade. I also have a friend living outside London whom travels a lot to Sweden so there's a possibility that she could do the trade for me. What do you guys and girls think? Doable or not? Sorry for my English and thanks for the help. Best regards/ Daniel
17.
Very cool reply, thanks! Both such different beasts...variety is the spice of life.
You're welcome :-)
18.
2 gorgeous basses It does look like the control plate on the jazz does not line up with the scratch plate though? Either way I want them both
Thanks. I think it is because of the pics. The pics are pretty crappy and taken on high iso. I didn't notice anything when I controlled the bass.
19.
Very nice. Which do you prefer?
This is my third Jazz bass. I did have an American standard before as well as a Mim 60's Classic. So I know I love Jazz basses. Thats why I got one again. For me and the way I play a jazz bass always works. I can always get it to sound good no mather what style I play. Its also really great to play. The Streamer is my first Warwick and I have almost had it for a week now. I must say its a lovely bass. This is a -97 so the neck is thin. Remimds me some of the jazz neck. Feels great to play. I can get about which sound I want from it and I love the countored body. I cant honestly say I prefer one over the other. They are just amazing basses both of them and I think they will get about the same amount of playing time and love from me :-)
20.
Congrats on your 2 nemest basses mate ! Lovely .
Thanks a lot :-)
21. Thanks. Im really happy now:-)
22. Here´s my rig and basses. All new to me.
23. Okey, I did some trading and got some gods today. Here´s some pics.
