  1. £80 posted. This pick up and pre amp came as part of a deal on a double bass. Looks in good condition and fully functioning - just surplus to my requirements. Will need some sort of glue to stick the pickup pads to the bridge (not included) Thanks Matt
  2. £35+£5postage Used on a couple of gigs but now longer needed. There's a couple of small marks on the front from use but otherwised boxed as new in perfect working order. Perfect to use with an ipad (any other tablets)onstage, especially when you need a quick page change and can't take your fingers off the bass. Uses bluetooth LE.
  3. £50 posted Nice little chorus pedal. Currently surplus to requirements- boxed in excellent condition. (Velcro on the back) One cool feature of this pedal is the ability to download toneprints from the tc website. I've currently got it loaded with Nathan East's Magi chorus which I really like- nothing too crazy but gives a great shimmer (all the crazy stuff is available on the pedal too though).
  4. Now SOLD 3/4 double bass case from gear for music (currently £200 new) This case came as part of a deal. It is in very condition, never gigged. It's just too big for my needs (and my car) It would be ideal cheap solution to go in a van or touring etc. I'm near Bath UK for trades for a good quality soft case. https://www.gear4music.com/Woodwind-Brass-Strings/3-4-size-Double-Bass-Case-by-Gear4music/9IK
  5. price drop now * only £50* These strings were included in a trade with a double bass. They were brand new when I got them but was curious to try them out! (and decided to stick with the Spiros) They have been on my bass for one day with probably about 20 minutes playing time, so pretty much as new. Pics to follow
  6. Thanks Hellzero! Very kind. Just had it on the scales 9lb 9oz according to mine- nicely balanced. Nut width looks like 42mm Thanks
  7. NOW SOLD ***Price Drop to £350** These basses retail in the US at over $1000... Not long had this bass but the project I bought it for is now no longer. I have changed the strings to thomastic acoustic bass in order to try to get the most 'acoustic' sound possible.( I will include the original strings with the sale). I've also had the bass set up professionally so it plays well without any buzzes, had the nut recut, corrected the unbalanced peizo etc. so it's ready to go. It sounds really great through an amp.I also include in the sale a brand new Thomman case. When I bought the bass there was a mark on the back where it had sustained a small dent. This has been filled before I bought it and is barely noticeable (and its on the back anyway...) . It has no effect on the use of the bass. Open to trades for electric fretless, studio gear (microphones, preamps, monitors) Double bass pick ups, possibly other stuff too...! Here's a link to a review/ https://reviewplays.com/boulder-creek-ebr3-n4f-review/ sound clip included below acoustic bass.wav
  8. Sure I ll be back from holiday this weekend- shall do then.
  9. ***Now on offer for only £600.*** or trade for nice sounding (but maybe scruffy) plywood double bass... JV series precision bass- in pretty good condition for the age, a few dents and marks as to be expected. The neck seems pretty slim for a precision. Neck plate JV 39818. Those in the know will know that these early Squire basses are very nice and well sort after. They used old fender parts and put them together very well (infact too well I believe as they were better than the America stuff from the same period ). Any a little research will tell you more. http://www.21frets.com/ It has been modified as some point in the past to include a jazz pickup. It is a professional job and looks very good. The precision pickup is the original, the jazz pickup is from an 1974 Fender Jazz bass that i previously owned. Strung with Thomastic flat rounds for vintage tone.. I've included a sound clip with both pickups and tone full on and just the p pickup and tone full on. See below. pbass both pickups.wav pbass front pu.wav
  10. sorry- forget trades- I've already got something to cover what I need now.
  11. Possible trade for a good quality preamp such as sadowsky..... but hit me up! Open to offers
  12. In as new condition (one very small mark on the side which I've tried to photograph) . This eq has rave reviews and is very powerful- just not for me. Velcro underneath but could easily be removed in necessary. £250 in the UK new- As new in box £180 posted. NOW £160 posted. Thanks Matt
  13. I have a set of Quarter-Pounder PJ pickups for sale which I have taken out of a bass I recently traded. They look in very good condition and sounded massive in the bass- it just wasn't the sound I was after. They have pretty universal rave reviews- an awesome set of pickups.
  14. Is it a jazz bass neck (that says precision?) or is it a slimmed down precision neck? Thanks Matt
  15. Swapped a jv precision bass with Steve. Nice chap, good coms and bass is just as described etc. Recommended- I'll happily trade with him again.
