I turned my old Squier P-Bass into a make shift Piccolo bass buy buying a set of D'Addario piccolo strings and a nut blank. Despite its relative ease, it actually works really well.

I am so tempted but money is so tight at the moment. I'll have to see if I can sell something. Hopefully it'll still be availible.
-
I seriously considering it. I'm just trying to think about whether it will compliment my Aguilar DB112 as a neat, small but powerfull rig?
-
How much for postage?
-
Does anyone know when they are out to play.
I got one eye on the oil finished Corvette, but dont know where or when to get my hands on one.
Any news? -
I appreciate that you would prefere a combined sale but how much would you take for the cabs if you were to split?
-
Definately keep an eye out for some second hand Trace Elliot stuff. My first stack was a Trace and it was awesome and cheap to boot. Another one that has already been mentioned is Hartke, again reasonably priced used gear always pops up and is well worth a shout, as too is most of the Ashdown stuff.
Its definately worth trying out as much as you can though. Good luck. -
I'd love one of these but its a little out of my price range. If I manage to sell something before it goes then I shall have it off you.
-
If this was the fretless version, I'd be all over it like a cheap suit.

My vote goes for the Markbass LMII. At least give it ago.

Just bought some strings, top service and speedy delivery.
Top Basschatter. -
Is the cab still available? I'm toying with the idea of having it off you.

Cheers for everyones kind words.

Yeah, I've heard that once or twice before so I might have to look into that when I decide on what color to have. -
Here's a crappy pic of mine which shows off my beer gut better than the cabs:
That is the color that is swaying me the most but I'm kind of worried about being able to keep them clean. Of course I would get myself some decent covers for them but you never know what might happen a gig.
Cheers the the pic's, any more for any more? -

Very nice indeed. How are the 212's with your Markbass head. I was going to go for individual 112's simply for transport reasons but curious to know how the 212's sound. -
After much though I have finally decided to go for a coupls of Aguilar DB112's to accompany my Markbass LMII but now comes the crucial question, what color?
Every color has its attractions and I am particularly fond of the 'white hot' but then again I really dont know
So if anyone has any pictures of there Aguilar rigs that I can have a gander at in order to make my mind up that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. -
You should definately consider Sandberg
They have something for everyone, but with your budget you'll be looking at good quality second hand. -

Just wondering if anyone ca share with me any experience's they might have had with reverb pedals for bass.
As far as I can tell there only seems to be one bass specific one being the EBS Dynaverb but I have read mixed reviews and for £150 I'm not 100% sure about that one.
If anyone can recommend some or even advise on which ones to stay clear of that would be great.
Cheers all. -
Where are you based?
-
I recently got myself one of these and it works a treat. £15 is a damn good price too.
Are they both sold or just the 15?
Anyone know the company behind these, or where I can get one from, ideally a 2x10 or 2x12?
Both sold to Oldslapper.
I'm not too clued up on the cabs but there was a post earlier in the thread by something who seems to know their stuff so maybe get hold of them. -
I managed to get my mits on one today. A friend who works in the shop said it just came straight out of the box and it was awesome.
Pound for pound I find it hard thinking of a better bass then the ones Squier have been doing recently.

I have a brand new and completely unused Roqsolid cover for Aguilar DB112 for sale.
The reason I am selling is because there was a breakdown in communication with my girlfriend which resulted in both of use buying one each when I only have one cab!
So when I say its brand new, thats just what I mean. I've got it out to look at it and that is it. It comes complete with black edge binding and I can even through in the original delivery note addressed to me just incase you have any quality issues with it in the future.
I ended up paying £37 for it so will happily send it for £30inc p&p
Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks
