1.
Hello folks i really need a marcus miller fender jazz so i am now reducing the price of my Warwick streamer stage 1 to 580 pounds minus postage. The bass is in excellent condition and has completely unworn gold hardware.I am also up for swaps. Please email if anyone is interested [email protected].

    Cheers Mark.
Ive got a Marcus Miller Bass that i may be up for swapping but i would like to see pictures of said Warwick to make sure. My bass is natural finished one with the black scratchplate. I could Email you pictures if you give me your address.

  2. I'm using the Electro Harmonix LPB 2ube which is a valve powered preamp pedal with 2 gain and 2 volume knobs and when you link both channels up together it gives a really convincing valve amp sound. It can give you anything from slight grit to full on distortion all whilst keeping the bass intacted, which is good because some pedals can rob you of the bass.

I do admit that this pedal is not for everyone but at least give it a go.

    My 2 sence.

  3.
good call
im using cubase sx3, EZcrummer, AmpliTube and Ampeg SVX. thats what i've recorded all of my 'the nashville project' stuff with.
Just had a listen to you work on myspace and its sounding pretty damn good, just a quisk question. How good is the Ampeg SVX, ive considered buying it but i wanted to hear opinions on it.

  4.
Hi I want to use ez drummer to build drum loops for practice and am looking for a program to run it from, Cubase is a bit complicated for what i need is there any other simple program which i could run it from? As far as i am aware its a vst plugin if that helps.

    cheers steve
If all you want to do is build loops to jam along to then i would suggest cubase. It's nowhere near as frightrning as it first appears. I got my first recording setup only two weeks ago - PC running EZDrummer and Guitar Rig- and ive already got to grips with it. I would suggest that if you do get anything simpler then after a few months you would have exhausted all it functions whereas with cubase it will hold you in good stead for a long time to come.
    Hope that helps.

  6.
Ruddy Nora, any of my mates would be well pissed off if I decided to reduce the price of their bass for sale. Can't they join Basschat themselves and sell it?
In fact, in your first post you cleary say that the bass is yours. Oops.
In all honesty the reason my friend isn't selling it is because he is currently in prison but thats not the sort of thing i really wanted to tell people. As a result i have technically inherited but i wish to sell it for him. I hope that clears up the confusion. Anyway, bass is still for sale for £900 or £870 if you want to save me posting it and pick it up.

    Cheers.

  8. I tried one in a shop in germany and it was simply stunning. I had never heard anyting quite like it. Tight, focused, punchy and terrifyingly loud. I tried it at the same time as the EBS fafner and it blow it out of the water. Definately worth a look, though they are quite expensive.

    Hope that helped somewhat.

  9. I found the MAG range of Ashdown to be pretty rubbish in all fairness. They are cheap but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. I had a MAG stack a while ago and i was counting down the days untill i could afford something else and get rid of of.

But, that is just me. :)

  10. Hey Stevie B.

Not much help i'm sure because i've not actually used this amp yet but over the last few years i have owened and played through many MarkBass heads and combos and they have all been awesome. Tight focused bass tone with plenty of clean headroom. If youre after a dirty sound then this may not be for you but if your into clean, punchy high quality sounding bass then you can do a hell of a lot worst.

Hope that helps a little bit made.

  11. I have for sale a Rickenbacker 4003 in Jetglo (black). Absolutely immaculate condition and an utterly awesome sounding instrument, it still even has the 'Made in America' sticker on the pickgaurd. Comes with an authentic RIC hard case which again is in mint condition and a RIC dust cloth.
I bought it on the merit that it is an awesome looking instrument but in my heart and head i'm a fender player and already have enough of those to cover all the bases. I'm after £1100 for it. If you are interested then PM.
