  1. I just got an Ibanez EHB to help with weight/back pain. Its really light and am loving it so far. I also just got a Shure GLX tuner/wireless as it has a large display. Last week on my old tuner I managed to tune one string flat because I couldn’t see the display properly, which made for an awkward first song! I need glasses for reading and close up stuff, but don’t really like playing with them on.
  2. Guitar guitar have some in stock
  3. I had a chance to buy a ticket for villa park last week when they released some more for sale, but just couldn’t bring myself to pay £412.50 for a seat
  4. I asked Andertons and they said end of September, Guitar Guitar website says the same.
  5. Great, looking forward to seeing the video
  6. Did you find one in stock somewhere? Everywhere I have seen has a 3-4 month wait list now
  7. Looks there is now a long waiting list for these, Andertons saying > 3 months, and Guitar Guitar saying end of September 😮
  8. Am definately interested in one of these, unfortunately all of the usual places have sold out, so will have to wait a while. i I’ve been looking for ages for a good sounding, easy to use multi effects and I think this could be it. I liked the look of the QC but I do think it’s more than I need, and thought of putting something that costs £1,400 on the floor at a pub gig fills me with terror! Was also looking at the Boss ME90b but wasn’t sure if it was more aimed at beginners, although it does look good. I think the Anagram hits the gap in the middle of these two
  9. Def try the cc company. it took me nearly a month to get a refund from Bax when they were trading
  10. I have the alpha omega amp, and you can get all sorts of distortion, fuzz and overdrive out of it, from subtle gain to full on
  11. 2nd week in a row playing at Market House in Maidstone on Saturday (with a different band). Not quite as good as last week, it was quieter but picked up for the last hour and so ended well. Had to ditch the IEMs half way through and go back to my ear plugs. I think it was due to having to stand so near to the PA and these were drowning out the IEMs. I keep thinking about getting a Quad Cortex, but then talk myself out of it with gigs like last night with drinks getting spilt near the equipment. This venue has a good barrier between the crowd and band but still doesn’t stop the flying drinks! . I used the bare minimum equipment of bass & amp last night and I thought it sounded good. I just changed the drive setting on my amp for the heavier songs. ive next weekend off before 5 gigs in April.
  12. What FRFR can are you using? One of my bands puts everything through the PA and I’m considering getting the Headrush 112 for on stage monitoring and not taking an amp & cab anymore. The guitarist has the 108 version for his monitor.
  13. They do have some random sales on there. i picked up a Darkglass 210 combo amp for £480 the other week. Unfortunately I didn’t like it and it went back, but I’ve no idea why it was priced so low, when all other shops sell it for around £1k. took ages to get a refund though
  14. Played at The Market House in Maidstone last night, which is my favourite venue in the local area. The pub was packed and gig went really well. Only downside was that I got a parking ticket in the loading bay, which was annoying and I’ll be appealing that tomorrow. I'm playing in the same place next Saturday with a different band, which I’m looking forward to.
  15. Just won a Boss Katana Go on Guitar Giveaway and it should be being delivered tomorrow. I was hoping to win a Quad Cortex, but a Katana Go is nice too 😃
