Flip flopping again...sounds lovely/warm/valvey but not enough grit/gnarliness/OD for my needs.
Back up FS. No trades sorry as I have what I need pedal-wise

Bumping your sale as I don't think you posted about latest price cut
Good luck!

I've had questions about the noiseless pickups. They are the DiMarzio Ultra Jazz DP149 set (the individual.pickups are coded DP147 [neck] and DP148 [bridge]). Found a video of someone playing these in a Geddy so you can hear the sounds:

Bought very recently on the forum, gigged on Sunday (pic attached) and its just too heavy for my neck/back - had significant discomfort after the gig even though its only about 9 pounds. My other basses are sub 8 pounds and that is what I will have to stick to going forward as my neck condition is not going to improve.
Robert's ad below sets out the details - its one of the first Japanese runs - stub of neck dates it to 2001 - and with some upgrades (eg noiseless pickups). The negatives for full disclosure are that the Hipshot A tuner has a bit of play (it holds tune and works but the first bit of a turn does nothing; worked fine for me at gig but can be replaced at about £30 if it bothers you) and it was routed for a battery pack at the rear (at one stage it had a John East preamp, its now all passive again), not that anyone would ever see this. I have swapped out white scratchplate (which I still have) for a black one, so you have the choice. What else? Wearing new DR Pure Blues 40-100 nickel rounds and comes with 90s style Fender hard case.
Usual gen from me - delivery by economy courier for £20 on top or collect in safe public space near me in Barnes, London SW13 (usually Barnes station car park).
Passing on at the price I paid which is a bargain

Paul bought a T Rex power supply unit off me and everything was hunky dory! Many thanks!!!!

That said, Peach Guitars has a couple in for £1400-odd and they weigh around the 10 pound mark. Even with covers on, that seems toppy to me on both counts

Fender made her a custom version of her SX Jazz replica (ironic!) in 2022, so its legit that she has a Fender sig bass even if the genesis was a replica

Partly put up for sale in a fit of pique as it wasn't working with my pedal board power supply. Going to give this another go as it does sound lovely when properly powered. Withdrawing

I bought this for my valve preamp which requires 12V and 500mA. Unfortunately I didn't twig that my 500mA T-Rex power supply wouldn't power the preamp as the mA through the GigRig steps down proportionally to 375mA (9/12× 500). In short this device is great for 12V pedals that require 375mA or less ... but not for my preamp!
These retail around £70 so how about £40 posted?

Bought a nice MIJ Geddy Lee Jazz bass off Robert. Kept me informed every step of the way and packed brilliantly. Excellent deal and happy to recommend!!! Cheers

One last try at £1750. If it doesn't go at this price I will just keep it for recordings and very short gigs

Addendum: had a few PMs with trade offers. Apols but I am over-burdened with pedals already and really should sell some more!
