Bump. I've just got this baby out of her case and she is playing great. Amazing sound. Superb condition. And of course one of a kind.

The bass is made in Taiwan but I also have a BBNE2 and it plays just like the Japanese model. The bass itself has hardware from the Japanese model. It's not particularly heavy

Not yet. A few time wasters bidding with zero rating or no intention of buying. Drives me crazy. I've had the same problem with my MacBook

Hi. The original chrome hardware is not available. Sorry. IMHO it looks much better in gold

Just to reiterate it has the bbne2 hardware on it from the actual bbne2. The tuners are mother of pearl. The original chromate hardware has been removed and replaced with this bbne2 hardware to make this identical to play to the bbne2. I know as I have a bbne2 with another on the way.
