1. Gigs this bass last night...decided to keep...think this is a very understated bass...it may be a bit to "metal" for some folks...I've had most basses from stingrays ,Warwicks, spectors, shuker, sandberg, mayones and more..and this competes well..maybe I need to join a metal band...
2.
I have to say I was very tempted by your Schecter but went for a "safer" Yamaha instead; only because I know Yamaha's do solid great value basses - Schecter used to be superb in the 80's but now I've no idea what they're like or sound like now - I like the look of it though
exactly why mines 4th in the queue as I've just bought a great Yamaha....
3. Guess this beauty is "in the eye of the beholder" as the saying goes....

5. Weighs just under 9lbs on scales... Cheers Patrick

9. I've got a schecter hellraiser 5 string...through neck ..blood red ...top spec ,very "rock" spotless no dings will be putting on here but there's an issue with my uploading
10. Well I picked it up today ..it's truly amazing...cannot now justify what I've spent in the past on guitars I won't mention names..But well worth the few hundred pound it cost me...
11. I think we can all agree some big distort and a little of whatever takes your fancy gets you close enough..as long as your banging the right strings and nailing it with timing your gonna be close enough for your everyday punter....it's foolish to think we will get it spot on..considering our limited funds compared to what c w has to work with...though I must admit my octave pedal has helped...
12. Thanks all..confirmed my suspicions ..looks like a new member to my family is on the way;)
13. Thinking of adding a Yamaha trbx 505 to my collection..Yamaha is one of the few makes I've never owned, never heard a bad Review of them...pmt has a beauty on display.....any opinions..?????
14. Can vouch for these ..I have a 5 string as backup great sound love the neck...a bargain..better than a lot of gear out there at the moment...

17. Anyone know of a supplier of fernades bass's in this country or Europe...?...
18. I hit all the right notes..sounds great on the intro but I do get lost in the mix once the other guys kick in...im finding a big muff with some octave seems to be giving the best results..though I also agree im probably making a to bigger deal as I dont think the punters really give a f***!..
