Yeh im basically adding in the SY-1 after the OC-5 So the whole chain plan is looking like it will be.... PS-6 > Cali76bc > OC-5 > SY-1 > MS-3 ( Bongripper/ MBD-2 L1, Broot / 420 Fuzz L2, Bass Fuzz L3) > Moog Clusterflux > Boss DD-200 > Boss RV-500 or GT-Core As im a boss artist and also the GT Core has alot more going on than the stomp ( Not bashing the HX ) it makes more sense for me to grab the Core but more likely atm is the RV-500 unless boss drop a RV-200

Sorry for the mess! the Fuzz tone 68 is gonna go back to a MBD-2 and an SY-1 is gonna go after the OC-5 im also torn between grabbing a RV500 or GT core instead of putting the Redwitch Titan on in the space where the midi box is.

wasnt meant as a bad thing, ive met many people who will listen to that a swear theres a diff ( listening with there eyes ) but yeh i do think this is a great option! i have an oc2 as its a classic pedal to have but ive got a oc5 incoming i also really wanna buy an octaver just for kicks and to have one

in the classic octave down no direct setting, i honestly am really struggling to hear a difference, and if there is it is so small its not worth mentioning

fuzzrocious grey stache is worth looking at! having the mids control really helps also the crimson from JHS

The mantic is much cleaner if that makes sense its not got the bit of hair to it that the meatbox has. sadly to my knowledge the density is the only similar pedal, octave downs just dont do the same thing however you could try an octave with a eq pedal to trim out freq you dnt want and just grab the MB one i believe 30, 60, and 90 hz but i could be totally wrong on those numbers.

also to anyone else readying this i do think its worth pointing out this is very different to the HX stomp, in my eyes they are created for a very different job. and this is an unbiased opinion even tho im a Boss artist! the Cnum function basically turns your 4 patches into 8 and can be momentary aswell great for using the pitch whammy stuff, and delay ramps etc

then its simple, go out and find an Oc-2 if they had created it with the same Oc-2 tracking people would complain this is a very cool update to a classic.

from the few demos ive seen its as mono as the Oc2 i have still has the cool flutters, i genuinely believe this is the reason we arent getting the Oc2w as they have put this into the similar format with the switch but given it a major addition which takes it to far away from the Oc2

yep that is turned on in poly mode the -oct2 becomes the range mode.

with this coming along i really dnt see a oc2 waza happening, at the end of the day this is that basically vintage is the standard and Poly is the custom.
