  1. think I’ve got a few pics from when I first got the bass, weight wise the neck is about 4lbs I think not measured just going of what they say, atm it neck dives I’ve got some weights I’m gonna add to the lower horn to help that, bass is def a heavy one hour easily talking 11lbs I guess the tone is much brighter, more top, sounds killer particularly with the bigger tbird pickup in the bridge
  2. Final got the neck in to finish this bass, it’s a standard burst squier vm jazz, but I fitted a Avedissian T bird pickup in the bridge, even added some black pickguard screws! And the standard for me upgrade to a high mass bridge. obviously the main change is the aluminium neck from Baguley, custom spec’d to have reverse headstock and block inlays!!
  3. you could use one of these and put your cabs in series to give a load you amp can use? that way no need for another amp at all https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Palmer-CAB-M-Passive-Cabinet-Merger/T2K?origin=product-ads&gclid=CjwKCAjwo7iiBhAEEiwAsIxQEaqwCOl2ApiEFmzClqNBym5idubTrMOpL4rzpszYkyD-6enOf8-H8BoCNqwQAvD_BwE
  4. I haven’t always liked the look but never been able to grab one
  5. It’s massive sounding!
  6. found these guys through insta! so happy i did! this fuzz is one of the only ones that might be able to keep up with my Heliotropic!
  7. Honestly man get a two notes captor, I used an 8ohm one live with a orange rockerverb 100 sounds great in the pa and meant I could run a true biamp rig with a very small setup, also sound guys love it
  8. i did a thing! now i can put that amp with the above setup and run all 3 cabs!
  9. i take great pleasure in having the biggest board, i need to do a second video showing this in parallel with a my other fuzz's sounds very cool! and means i can use the octave more
  10. never def grab the new shiney thing!
  11. this sounds great on bass yes there some less useful tones with the octave pushed but all round i think this is great
  12. Recording demo tomorrow eve! Honestly such a good gamble
  13. playing in liskeard this weekend with my band "Stealth Moose"
  14. yeh mine says 4 ohms on the back so no 2 ohm load for me hence looking at getting a second
  15. there does seem to be a few more dealers in the uk for aguilar over MB, but i was thinking more in terms of sound aswell aguilar for me anyway having had ashdown, agular and markbass amp the larter two sound closer.
  16. its got a bit of tonebender about it
  17. so glad i took the gamble on a cavebear! (NON Human Audio) oh boy! such a great sounding pedal! and the most simple distortion/fuzz on my board!! also got to try out a new addition to the rig my Peavey mk3 400 series! ( due to my gk crapping itself!!! ) that into a 215 is just lovely!
  18. Rm500 is a great choice, id also throw Aguilar th500.
  19. so after some amp issues! last night i was always meant to be trying this amp ended up a little sooner than i thought! super impressed and thru my peavey 215 sounded huge! i did plug in to the power amp in but with out a master volume safe to say it was loud! seriously am def on the hunt for another! ideally one that will do 2 ohms
  20. you can make a good synth sound by layering chorus, octave down and a filter but it will use your whole unit to make the sound of boss
  21. Much smaller unit and I reckon using the effects you could get a cool synth sound going in the core, it’s just quicker in the Sy
  22. signal blender worked great into the rig for practice
  23. added a signal blender to blend my di outputs into the output of the bass rig so I can monitor them thru my cab at practice
