2.
To see Flickr pictures you have to subscribe and install the app. I object to having to subscribe to a site, giving them all my details, just to see your bass. So I can't see it either. Your loss...
You don't have to subscribe to it just to see it...only if you're using a phone/tablet. Unfortunately, because BC's upload limits are so small we HAVE TO use file sharing sites like Flickr. The pictures are perfectly viewable via in browser format...view using your laptop, you shouldn't have a problem. The thing is, a hell of a lot of people now use Flickr as a file upload/share site so I think it would be wise to 'give them all your details' (it's just name and a password, it's really childs play to be honest, my 6 and a half year old nephew uses it)... Either that or a simple "could you perhaps email me the pics as I'm interested in your bass but I, also, seem to not be able to use Flickr on my phone" might have been a more positive communication...and would have halted the grave and terrible loss I am now suffering. Thanks for the bump at least!
 3.
What a beauty
Thanks, it certainly is.
I can't see the pics?! But really needs too!!!
Mate, ipad/phone users can't view flickr for some reason. Have this same crap all the time. Works fine on my mac...if anyone else can help joemarty view the pics that would be awesome. I've copied and pasted the link to my flickr page a million times and every time it embeds the media player...which is fine, if you're viewing on anything other than a phone/tablet. Apologies about the low light, it was this evening when I took the pics, still...you can see the quality and condition of the bass. I will take some daylight pics if anyone wishes.

 5. Andre bought a Yamaha TRB from me. Swift interest. No messing. Asked me to hold the bass one day, paid the next. Great guy to deal with. Good communications. Trade/Sell/Buy with confidence.
 6. Paul Creedy is an excellent Luthier. I know him well. Arrowhead guitars are lovely hand made guitars. Paul only uses high end materials. All the spalted, figured, eyed, knotty woods. I know when looking for Paul to build me an Arrowhead Jazz I was looking at minimum 1500+. Paul doesn't do low end work. A very accomplished luthier. When you say a "no name" guitar did you opt to not have it made as an arrowhead with arrowhead logo? Best luck with the sale. Here's the link btw: http://bit.ly/1fUL8bo
 7. Bought a P Bass from Gary. Friendly chap. Accommodating with a 2 week wait for payment. Polite and friendly seller and trustworthy. Shame I didn't get to sample his tea...was in a slight rush. Would have no problem buying from Gary again.
 8.
Mine
Indeed sold. All received Andre. Just finishing my Sunday Roast then I'll get it packed and courier ordered. I'll PM you with tracking/details etc. Thanks again. Great bass. Another lucky owner. And thanks to everyone for all the interest. J.
 9. Temptation levels hitting redline. Very nice Karl.
 10.
That's not really necessary: here's a link that will let you see them on anything: http://www.flickr.com/photos/93253425@N03/sets/72157634936594560
Nice one. Don't know why some people can't view them. I don't seem to have any trouble on my phone/pad. It's not the actual link that's the problem. Seems to be when I edit the post and hit submit the link defaults to the Flickr player rather than keeping it as a clickable link...which is what some people have trouble viewing. Cheers for doing that though threeday. 'ppreciate it.
 11.
Hi. I put mine up earlier in the year (same condition - mint and as new) for this price. I think 500 is a very fair ask for one in this condition.
Many thanks.
 12. Same bass, professionally set up by local luthier here in Northampton. Benefits from a complete nut and bolt clean, cut and polish, new strings, fretboard and frets cleaned and polished, electronics serviced and new battery. Remember this is a posted price also. Graeme paid £750 for this bass back in June. I'm bringing it here for £150 less in better nick. It was a good bass fair priced at £750. Its now a remarkable bass, perfectly priced at £600. Cheers.
 13. Thanks again for you helpful support Thunderbird. Really appreciate all the free bumping you've provided me with.
Close to pulling the trigger on this... Lovely bass!
Thanks! 'Tis a beauty. And a really great price too.
 14.
... you rent your wife out for what????! .....
Intensive wife behavioural courses mate. They go from: "I'll cut your balls off and serve them to you in your tagliatelle if you bring so much as another pickguard screw home!!!" to "omg!!! that is beautiful!!!" and "it cost you less than 3grand!!??" and "wow and that TONE!!! sounds just like a PINO!!"
 15.
Stunning bass!
'tis a bit nice eh.
Bloody hell that is nice
That nice that my partner doesn't want it to go!! Can you believe that? A woman not wanting you to sell basses... If anyone's interested I rent her out for intensive wife behaviour courses.
Thats one gorgeous bass, if it were a 5 id be selling my kids check out some 80's earth wind & fire concerts, Verdine White used these basses for years, amazing tone
I remember VW using them. I think thats where my love of them started. Well, I've owned one now so that's a box ticked, now must move it on.
BOOM there it is. Very nice indeed :-)
Worth the wait eh?
 16.
Wasn't blaming you dude, I think it's just a function of closing and opening the thread n wotnot...it's crystal now though matey ;-)
I didn't feel blamed. I felt compelled to rectify. I absolutely positively agree with you. It's not the most straightforward page template. Does do funny things to the eyes... Just for clarity for anyone else: the bass is £500 or very nearest. Cheers.

 18. Sorry, if you skim read it, it will be blindingly unclear. But the first line states how much it is. I'll BOLD it out just for clarity. I can't for the life of me understand why when editing the post I can't edit OUT the original £600... The confusion is not my fault... Gareth it's £500 or very nearest mate.
 19. Sorry nottswarwick. The pics are hosted on the full flickr site. You need to view them on a mac/laptop. If you search User: 'Jamon Cahill' on your iPad, The pics are public mate. :-/
 20. Up for sale is an absolutely stunning and increasingly rare (in this colour/combo/age/condition), ORIGINAL, Japanese made, Yamaha TRB-4P. Yamaha TRB fans will know what this bass is about. And this particular example is minter than I can describe. It's absolutely flawless. Hard to believe is pushing a quarter century old. It's been in kid gloves it's whole life. It's an #E4 serial number which ran from '86-'89. Pre-production began in '88 which makes this an '88/'89 model. The #E4 type serial numbering only ran until '89. This is a concrete, no younger than, 24 year old, ageing beautifully and increasing in value bass. Yamaha made the TRB solely as a 5 string (and 6) with only a HANDFUL of these 4's being made. They weren't designed as a 4 string bass. They weren't a standard stock item and in the end became a custom only model. Specs Body: Select Japanese Ash, Neck: Neck through, Maple & Mahogany. Fretboard Ebony/Pearl inlays- 24 Fret Electronics: Active, 2 Single Coils + Bridge Piezo (Little piezo's in each of the bridge saddles), 5-Control System, Pickup to Piezo blend, Bass Cut/Boost, Treble Cut/Boost, Master Vol. Hardware: Solid machined brass bridge, Gold hardware all round. Schaller locks. Finish: Hand carved, Hand sanded, Hand stained select Japanese Ash. Case: Hardcase: Yamaha tolex. Anyone who sees/plays this bass will be bowled over by how beautifully well made/designed it is and how comfortable it is to play. Lovely neck, great dimension. A real lovely bass to hold. The gold hardware has almost NO ageing or fading. It's really bright, vivid and consistent considering the age of the bass. This bass looks like it was made last year. Absolute Japanese, long lasting build quality. If you've seen how Yamaha make their basses by hand, you'll know. Serious precision, and then some. Soundwise, it's musical, funky, solid, clear. Lots of low end response but very bright if you want clarity and musicality. It really really boasts a good amount of low end response. It can really thump hard if that’s what you’re going for, but also with the piezo pick ups it gives a certain brightness as well. It’s definitely a versatile bass guitar to say the least between the different pick ups. Although originally a mid-range instrument it's a serious bass for a serious player boasting the kind of top end parts, design and quality found on basses twice it's price and more. This bass makes a lot of custom/boutique/highend basses look like college experiments. Yamaha Japan REALLY know to make instruments. The Japanese don't give anything less than perfection. A fabulous instrument which on looks alone I should probably keep, but I just can't justify it sitting cased and not played. It deserves to be played and adored. Price is £600 shipped to mainland UK. Postage to EU to be arranged and priced accordingly. Paypal/Bank Transfer(UK buyers only)/cash on collection. European buyers, I need cleared funds before I will ship. Not really interested in trades to be honest. £600 is a cash price so the trade value would need to be around the £750 mark but try me. You never know, you might have something I want. Thanks for looking. PICTURES: http://www.flickr.co...s/93253425@N03/
