That's nice...I learned a while back that I don't like the neck profile.

    GLWTS (you won't need it).

thank you, yes i already been asked to hold it, but i have to see what that's about..:-)

  2. Fabulous condition 2001 no dinks or scratches. The vol control is stiff and needs to be freed up but it works but push pull also tight. I will not force it. Otherwise electronic all sound. Bass has been standing in original case at least 10 years so needs to be played.colletion it or can courier at the cost and arrangements and risk of the buyer. Comes with original Wal brown case two latches down. A good polish will do it wonders, I will do it when i get a chance.  Thanks

Wow, that looks to be in superb condition.  Wonderful instruments with a unique tone.  The last image appears to show strings running over the nut after the taper (not necessarily a problem in my experience).  Some short-scale strings aren't sufficiently long and medium-scale can be a better option (though other short strings work well).  I'm assuming it's a walnut top?  Beautiful and good luck!

YES THATS right the strings are short scale, i have to restring it when i get a chance..

Yeah there is! I was in talks with Thomann and they can't get a hold of their new shipment of them, it was supposed to be last month, then next week and now it's been moved to the end of September so I cancelled my order for the 6 string version, don't know if the UK will face similar shipment issues from Ibanez, but I can imagine they will.

Yes i did hear, most makes i believe ..but if you fancy making an offer on this go for it..

Absolutely love these new EHB Ibby basses, I'm still waiting for a 6er to become available! tempted to get this and forget the high c and just shift my lazy hand!

I think there is a bit of a shortage of these in shops right now ..well this one is new really never been used more than two hours in total..

  6. This neck was at some stage glued to the body and bolts. We had to painstakingly separate them and we managed to do that with very little damage. Just a small shave of wood which gets covered up when the neck is in place as you can see. It has beautiful grain and I'd say is in great condition. The neck looks like it might have been drilled and filled the holes obviously to attach to another bass. The neck stamp is intact as is the maker of the neck who was one of fenders best in the 70s.truss rod tuners etc all work well and a slight bend on the E tuner. I have tried to price this best I can looking on the bay some are over 1k without tuners. Can post via parcel force 24. I attached it to a bass just to check, i have the body which had to be sawn in half.  It may have had a refret as they look in great condition, it's hard to say as have no clue of it's history. I am open to offer.

These truly are wonderful instruments to play. They have a really fast action with a Jazz feel type of neck, but the tones you can dial out of this beast is amazing.

I have one of these but mine is a 1997 model that I have had converted into a fretless by Mr Shuker himself and it basically plays itself......

GLWTS mate, these don't come around at this price very often.

Aw thank you very much ♥️ yes it's a great bass indeed.

  8. In a couple of weeks I will have this Amp here.. It's currently at the lock up. It works perfect and sounds huge. Very heavy.. Proper 70s gear. A small deposit of 50 pounds will secure it for you. But will have to be collected from great yarmouth about 24th August. Thanks.
