  1. Bass is KK baby bass which is passive. Please use headphones thanks
  2. hi there i love the burns and it has so many tones, but it's a big beast and i'm not! so i just sit down with it, but its a lovely thing...ah nivram...did this a few weeks ago
  3. Just brushing up on the shads bass lines as i got some Cliff/shads shows coming up, also his later hits, so should be good. So this year doing Elvis and Cliff shows and the odd Jerry Lee Lewis
  4. Good morning....4th year running I will play the Butlins 60s weekender twice a year for Elvis Tribute, but this year (4th March) I'm playing for a Jerry Lee tribute as well. Now if I could get the Cliff show that would be all 3 on the same weekend! haha, must not be greedy.
  5. Bass and drums removed from the track. You get these tracks from karaoke version. Very good for this sort of thing if you can't play on top of another bass etc.
  6. Hi, I think Nathan East played one of these on footloose. Real nice tiny comfy bass.
  7. This is one i like to play live, and not the mainstream live EP song, with a great bass line (I Think) best with headphones. I get these tracks from karaoke version where you can buy the track and remove the parts you wish.
  8. I SHOT THE SHERIFF ERIC CLAPTON BASS JAM PLEASE USE HEADPHONES Bass removed from the track. Good morning, every day I been recording a 1 take track with each of my headless basses, and this is a Tribe headless, made in Sweden you can imagine the quality. 7 different p/u options and passive! Fantastic neck too. On this I just play about with different timings and licks, can really get into it, and was holding back to be honest on the riffs, but it's just a bit of fun and good for playing different feels in the song. As always bass is removed from the track. Not many of these basses about, but I'm sure they will become more mainstream as time goes on.
  9. Only using the back pickup on this i think it sounds pretty close to a rick. Nice bassline on this
  10. Hello, This is more of a busk really tyring out this really class NM which i recently picked up. They are pretty rare, and these later one's are just lovely. I would say the tone id very clinical, but you can get a huge array of tones out of it. The strings are a little light for me, but it's a joy to play. Bass is removed from the track, and headphones are best.
  11. aw thank you very much. Yes great basslines at that time.
  12. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a 1960 or a 63, but eighter way, it really is a great P bass. I use tracks where I can remove the bass and get them from karaoke version so great for video etc.
  13. if you can buy it, do it, it's a fantastic bass. You wanna hear the slap tone. There are a couple on here i think, but i wanted the sunburst one.
  14. Yesterday I picked up this Yamaha bb BP35 bass after wanting one for a long time in this colour. It really is a fabulous bass, and you can play pretty much any style on it. The slap tone is fantastic and it's passive. I'm not really a 5-string player, but love the B string power, so was using it a bit here, but this bass was local to me, so i got my hands on it. Please use headphones, the bass is removed from the track, you get them from karaoke version, great for this sort of thing. thanks

  16. I really like this new bass from Fender, sounds and plays great, and very well made. I fancied slapping this. 1st take, quickie Thanks Headphones are best for any bass video.
  17. It's funny how many people said the same thing about this bassline and Dave was singing and playing it as well...
  18. Just a bit of fun but nevertheless a real fab bass part.
  19. Just got this back to life.. lovely old thing near 60 years old. Sounds very much like my double bass. Nice and thumpy.
