Watkins rapier bass This bass is ultra rare English made and unbelievable condition! It is missing truss rod cover and 3rd position on selector switch does not work but all other 3 do. You can go from deep thumping bass to high treble. Huge sound palette. No crackles. I have looked and ones in not good order sell for more. These is a little lacquer cracks but it is structural sound as a pound. Action very low with no buzz. Absolutely joyful to play. Nice and light short scale. One for the collection or to play live. I I can describe as going from a hofner violin sound deep and thumpy to a rik treble pickup on the other end. I have oiled the tuners and polished the body. Beautiful bass. Thank you very much. yes i think the pawn shop ones are pretty collectable, im always open to offers on any bass i list...Yes i think it needs these mods to make it right as it were. Strange they made the squire one more like the original and not this that was 3 times more!

Hello the weight is 4.5kg, and the neck is much more like a 75, much more chunky C shape. The 62 i have that i will list has a very slim neck. This one feels alot more like a P bass neck. I guess it depends on what you like. Hope that helps, Rich.

Beautiful with rose wood board too..un played mint, with strap locks (fender) and gig bag. Still has plastic on pick guard and the pick ups. This bass is in great condition and has been converted to the original spec. The original pick up is included with a hard cae. Has one small paint chip on the bottom edge, otherwise mint. Very cool piece of kit. On the last photo thats just a reflection is that line.

Fantastic bass, low action, ready to play duran duran...comes with case, fantastic condition apart from a few bits of lacquer loss i think it is on the bottom edge and small patch on bottom horn. I guess it can be re done, but its fine as it is for near 40 years old. PRICE DROP £480

Hello, This is a great example of an overwater. It comes in at 4.8 kg. It has very light play wear hear and there, but no dinks, just very light wear. It has a light scratch on the back. The bass is just beutiful and sounds clear and punchy with no issues at all. Comes with a nice hard case or gig bag. Sadly i cannot post as no boxes, so collect only please.
