[/quote] There doesn't seem to be a lot of the 'original' bass left. Previous owner told me etc... that type of comment always sounds like a disclaimer to me. Unlacquered decal, cant guarantee neck is genuine? Corona neckplate (available on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Corona-Neck-Plate-/271522053732?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f37f9be64). I found the previous link via the precision sellers feedback. So, he has bought something there recently. Same goes for Bobsguitars49 (also found via his feedback) they sell guitar decals. Quite a few of his purchases are from guitar accessory shops. It just sounds like a 'bitsa' being sold as a Fender....
