  1. I had this up for sale a while ago and decided to keep it. I need a desk more now and so, it’s up for sale again. It’s wearing the new Fender rounds that were released recently especially for the VI. They sound great to me and make the VI sound just like a traditional bass in my opinion.

There’s no damage to speak of (I can’t find any), although it is used and so is not pristine. No nasty gouges, scratches or surprises either.

The Trem arm comes with it as does the original bridge. It’s still in the bag with the gubbins. I’ve never used it. There’s a set of La Bella flats somewhere too if I can find them. They were fitted when I got it. I cannot guarantee they will go back on though. You can see some silk under the top E at the nut it’s there to stop a little rattle. I’m not too au faire with with VI’s and Staytrem bridges and that was my solution 😁

Will trade wireless digital desk Behringer X18, XR18 etc May add cash for right desk. May consider others such as Behringer RX1202fX V2 plus cash.

Collection and trial from BB22SH preferred but meet up possible dependent on distance and availability. Postage at buyers cost and risk but will be packed securely for transit.

    Hi Dunk

Unfortunately, try as I might, I can't fit anymore drum pads on my rack.

It's a pity cos it would have been good, but I'll have to withdraw.

A valiant effort though! Much appreciated too 😁 Every time I sell something I regret it anyway 😂 I end up needing it again immediately. It could lie there for years untouched, sell it, have to buy it again for double! Recently I had a cheap Greg Bennett semi for sale but for once had the good sense to withdraw it. Gigged with it last week and it’s become number one 😂 folk who have been watching us for years were asking what bass was that, as it’s the best bass sound they’ve heard! One fella who knows me too well made me promise never to sell it 😂 It’s BC, it’s the Hotel California 😂

  3. May trade for rack mixer like a above.

Hardly used. There are some marks/light scratches on the glass fascia though. These do not affect operation or obscure the screen view in any way. The drummer decided not to put it away in it's box for the last couple of years but to put it in a drawer at home instead. Of course this is the type of thing that you would normally do, especially when an item doesn't in fact belong to you :) However, It's all still working and he never actually used it.

  4. As above, in great condition. These are fantastic cabs handmade in Italy. Their quality is outstanding. I believe it was over £1400 when new. This is a link to the recently released MK2 version (the cab for sale is a MK1) https://www.atsitaly.it/gb/light-series/56-b410-ed-eg.html

The only reason it is for sale is, I really need to raise money for a decent desk for recording. As I’ve also got a BF Super Twin, this one is the logical choice to sell.

Would consider trades for a digital desk, something like a Behringer XR18 or Soundcraft etc equivalent with multitrack capability or may consider a standard 16 / 24ch+ desk with multi direct outs.

Maybe try me with anything I would have a greater chance of selling on though? I understand that quite expensive cabs can be a niche market and so something that would sell on quicker would be more advantageous to me.

Delivery at buyers cost and risk but will be well packaged fot transit. May meet up depending on distance and time. Collection and trial welcomed from Blackburn Lancs.

Leave the cardboard in the van,  then hide it inside the flightcase tomorrow.

The flight case arrived and the good lady didn’t even bat an eye lid? She’s ordered something mad again. She must have. All the dogs will have new jumpers or something like that. Dam it, I could have bought something really extravagant 😂

    Thanks for the welcome!
Looks cool; didnt know touring ski resorts was a thing!

So far we have generally just played around our region (Loire/Rhone-Alpes) but planning for more concerts next year...

Being a 15-piece outfit, finding places capable (& willing) of putting us on is tricky!

I didn't know resorts were a thing either or how it came about? How does a 15 piece manage to find a stage big enough to play on! I don't think they care about a stage. They seem to stand on tables and wander about the venue with the audience :)

  7. Hi James and welcome to Basschat! The big band element caught my eye. There’s  a young chap called George Barnes doing the same over here and is doing a tour of ski resorts over in France /Switzerland in the summer I believe. I can’t remember their name off hand but it does look like great fun. A whole different experience.
You’ll find plenty of gear for sale on here! It becomes addictive though😂

This is like Terry and June*,  but classier and with PA gear!

I’ve managed to get the PA speaker to the singers house! Job done 😀 Almost….. When I got home , I realised that the singer has put the box with all the packaging back in the van 😬 I now have to dispose of the box. But where? 😂

  9. It’s arrived! As luck would have it she went upstairs when the courier battered the door in. I quickly threw the PA speaker in the van and dived back in the house. She thinks he delivered the smaller parcel that arrived earlier. The flight case won’t arrive until tomorrow now. I really hope she doesn’t want to go out in the van 😂

  10. It’s gotten worse. Her first client has cancelled and now she’s wandering around like an apparition. Postie has just dropped off a parcel for her and I’m not in the slightest interested what it contains? Am I suffering from a form of domestic abuse here? Do I need to stand up for myself? If only I lived in Scotland 😂

Tell the courier that you haven’t ordered anything and ask them to return to sender.  That way you won’t be in trouble with your missus, your bank balance will get a boost and you get to stay in the gear abstinence thread.  Happy Days.

Oh no no no, I would feel like a traitor to myself! A worthless lowdown traitor. I am an addict!

Fake an emergency at her work, or stand outside until the delivery arrives and stash them away.

I’ve got the van parked right at the gate with the side loading door directly in front 😂 I’ll have worn a hole in the hallway carpet by the time it comes. She’s working in the front room too. Fate has conspired against me this time!

  13. I have sinned. I’ve got two rather large packages containing errrrmmmmusical items arriving tomorrow. Booked to arrive on the only safe day of the week. The day that the Mrs is out all day! Hooray!😁

She has just informed me that she will be working from home all day tomorrow. Boo! 😬 I really don’t know how I’m going to explain a PA cab and a flight case arriving on the doorstep 😳 I’m going to have to go down the no comment route aren’t I? 😂

Was that the one I sold?

Like most semi acoustics now it does have the solid core, with two empty chambers either side. Incidently that is a Gotoh batterry box that I fitted as well as replacing the stock machine heads with Wilkinson's.

It may well be! It must be really, there can't be many of these with the same details. Sorry but I can't really remember who I got it from now. Thanks for the additional info. It's a pity I can't find a use for it here really as it's a great bass.

  15. Please note - this is not the FX model.

Allen and Heath Zed 10 Mixer. Nice little desk. All works as it should and in good condition. Comes with mains lead and manual but not it's original box.

The cheapest I can find these now is £249 and so the price sounds fair.

Buyer can collect from BB22SH and I'll knock a tenner off

  16. Bought a Soundcraft desk from Alex. It arrived really quickly and packed well for the journey. The desk is exactly as described. Great BC’er and I hope we’ll deal again. Thanks again Alex.

    Cheers

  17. PENDING. Selmer Treble n Bass 50w. Suit bass or guitar. It’s enormously loud with guitar and a capable bass head with the right cab. I’ve had this for a good few years and haven’t used it apart from to test and the occasional practice at home. Reason being covid happened and by the time that was over I needed a more powerful bass amp again.

The amp had just been fully serviced when I got it (on BC) and it’s still working fine. However, whilst stripping the tolex (it was in a sorry state), I managed to snap the on / off toggle switch. The amp still works and can be switched on and off (with a bit of difficulty) but the switch really does need replacing for ease of use. Hence the low price. The repair should only cost about £30, I just haven’t got round to getting it done.

The case is stripped of the tolex, sanded and varnished. It looks great.

This amp is over 50 years old.

Collection and trial from Blackburn Lancs. May be able to meet up within a reasonable distance, time permitting. Postage is the last option at the buyers cost and risk.
