1. Good rig for sale or swap px for bass gear - 2x Turbomax tops 450w each. Heavy and quality. Two matching sub bottoms, 600w each. The cabs alone were £2600 when new. Two Ohm wedge cabs (I think they are 500w each off hand) which I use for monitoring. All carpeted in black and are in good condition. Two Behringer Europower power amps to power the tops and bottoms and a C-Mark 2k power amp for the monitors. Complete with crossover and flight case for amps etc. There is also a 16 channel phonic desk with built in effects (1 knob snapped but channel still works. All speakons included. All you need is a multicore, some mics and stands and you are away. You will not believe the reason as to why I am selling it but I will tell you anyway. I bought all of this so our band did not keep on having to hire. I had used it once with the band when a lad turned up at one of our gigs and offered to do our PA's for an unbelievable rate. He now supplies us with a 6k Logic rig for virtually nothing. As you can see I have no use for it now and its lying there doing nothing. I would like - cash - good compact bass gear - 70's precision - Westone Thunder 3 . Try me . I am in Blackburn Lancs .

Hi, thanks for the welcome. My Mrs wouldn't agree with you about buying more basses. I have to pretend I only have a few. I have them all over. Even got two in a reording studio in Belgium she doesn't know about!!.

If I find a Thunder 3 I'll let you know.
Thanks again...

Orite Dunc, Welcome to Basschat. Check out the for sale section, you never know what might pop up. I think the first Bass I recorded with (1989 ish) was a westone thunder and I remember thinking at the time it was a pretty good feeling Bass.

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I had the Westone for over 20 years. I got rid of it because I ended up playing so high up all the time I had forgot how to play bass!!! Silly to sell it though. The Thunder 3 have amazing versatility. Very heavy though and my backs not as good as it was in the 90's.

Thanks again...

5. Been playing bass for 30 odd years. Based in Blackburn Lancs. Played in a few bands around the north west of Enland. Did ok with a band alled 3 Men Gone Mad in the late 80's early 90's. Pottered about since then but I get together with a couple of lads twice a year to play Clash songs. Its good fun.
