2.
See if you can find Daisy Chainsaw's one hit "Love Your Money" - lovely grindy noisy bass sound on that.

And of course there's the Ben Folds Five back catalogue for Muffed-up goodness, although Robert Sledge didn't have a guitarist in the way. His Muff pretty much makes this performance of Fair.
Daisy chainsaw were brilliant i fancied the pants off katy jane the singer.

  3. AC/DC are raw power i always respect bands i wouldnt want to get in a fight with! I saw some footage of them from the bonn scott days playing a tiny gig at colchester and it blew me away, they are one of the only bands where the death of the frontman did not make a lot of difference to there impact.

  4. Its dead easy mate just unscrew the plate with them on and get a can of switch cleaner from maplin make sure it has the straw attached to it.Fix the straw to the nozlle flood each pot with it while turning each knob back and fourth.Dead easy.

  5. Hello Carla to be honest with Behringer you get what you pay for,and they have not got the best track record you need to take it to a guitar shop or at least let someone who has experience with electronics have a look at its guts.It would be very difficult to solve on line, you could try going to maplin or somewhere and spraying contact cleaner into the gain potentiometer(knob) as it could just be a build up of dirt in thre causing the signal to drop in and out.

  6. Ha! coincedence or what, mine went for 150 minus postage 2 weeks ago,the bloke got a bit shirty though as i had a lot on and took a few days to send it,i think trace are going to go up in value though as i had a lot of interest and was chuffed cause it sold for 10 quid more than i bought it second hand.

  7. I met foxton at a pub in my home village just outside of Newcastle it was around the time he was playing with SLF,i saw the documentary on weller the other night it was very good,i must admit i was very shocked by bruce,s appearence since i last saw him ,he looked like he,d had loads of botox and there was something very suspicious/cunning about his hair.An era defining bass player though, i take my hat off to bass players in a 3 piece set. All the jam classics are just brilliant,i still love the style council as well though.

  8. I have done similar before, there were loads made, sorry but probably just some guy who really got into it who never got famous...Now if it was a 62 p with something carved in the bass of the neck area,i would be very interested.

  9. You could try turning up or down the gain on your preamp in the bass that might give you more of the dead sound you want, just a suggestion.I would assume turning it up will make it slightly more growly/fuzzy.
