5. I love the musicman stingray basses, they're just great. But thats not what this is about. Ive come across a couple if these musicman SUB basses, and sterling by musicman (is it?). Whats the deal with these? Are they like, squier by fender, epiphone by gibson? Or something else entirely? If someone can fill me in or give me any Insight into these basses, id appreciate it. Tar, ben.
6. i get the appeal of relics, but i dont personally like them, if my guitar is new, i want to look F*****g new! But if its old, real vintage, i like it to look used. But that warwick is just all over the shop, the point is relic it wear it would naturally damge and wear from actual playing; the forearm rest, the thumb rest, around knobs. Not just any old place! Btw, i noticed everyone blanking their swears, is there some kind of no swearing rule on this site or what? I blanked mine incase there was Ben.
7. Btw, this is just a lovely bass, if i were in the market for a P, id snatch this off you. Such a bargain. Ive got some SPB3 ready fir when i eventually get one haha Ben.
8. You've probably figured it now, but i just figured it now, so I'm sharing On iPhone, just click reply as usual, then at the bottom click full version then attach a picture as usual on a computer, then swap back to mobile if you want. If anyones got an easier way id like i know? Ben.
9. I like the bridge on mine, that extended B string saddle is clever. If i were keeping it i might get round to changing the tuners. But you're right, its just preference. Ben.

18. The jag has been a favourite for a while now, but just thought id get some background info on the tele before i spend all my money haha
19.
I find the thought of a tele bass being slapped just too distressing .
Yes, it doesn't seem like a good idea does it. Haha
20. P.s. This is for everyone, ill explain where the swansea reference is applied at the end. I've been looking fir a new bass for sometime now, and ive decided on the fender jaguar, however, spotted a fender modern player tele bass yesterday, and, well, that thing looks pretty badass. So, a little information ir experience on either would be appreciated. Main concerns of the tele bass is, firstly; can you even slap on this thing, i am a major slap enthusiast and it would be pointless to get it, unless i had money to burn (i don't), if you can't. It doesn't look like you can from a glance, looks like it play somewhat similar to the original precisions or an eb3 or something, which are not big slappers. Secondly, those pickups, look like they're a fender style mudbucker, however, I'm sure they're actually split coils, masquerading as humbuckers. So, do they suffer from a massively muddy, deep, throbbing mudbucker tone, or can you get a good treble and mid response out of them. I'm quite a punchy attack tone bassist. The only aim towards swansea bassists i have is, if anyone in my area happened to own a tele bass, they may perhaps be prepared let me have a little tickle on it, a test run, maybe? Any and all thoughts are much appreciated. Cheers, ben.
21.
In terms of BB, I'd be looking 1024/1024x.
Darn got 3 BBs but not that one haha oh well, worth a try. Ben.
