Weight 4kg. .. I'm not sure if that's light mate..much lighter than my xotic and my 78jazz... It's a cracking bass -

I love them I have 2 ...fretted and fretless SB4001s . Got the fretless only last week custom made through bass gear. Enjoy yours.. The necks are great and they sound fab...John
