1.
you want to exchange with warwick corvette 6string????
Nope sorry, got one lovely 6er and that will do me for the moment, really just a sale I am looking for.

  2. Ah my territory

I play a Dingwall Afterburner I 6 string, 37 - 33.25" fan. Joy to play. The point is that it gives you an immense sounding tight low B yet a supple and mellow sounding high C. Each string has an optimum scale length and sounds all the better for it, the 37" low string scale also allows me to pull off a meaty low A drop tuning. Very easy to play and takes no time to get used too, honest. Prefer it to any other 6 I have played, Sei's, Overwaters and other such quality instruments included (not saying they where bad by any means of course). Also a lot of fun for confusing the audience...especially at punk gigs!

  3. Money is tight and my Dingwall is getting all the loving so sadly this has to go.

Lovely bass, one of the earlier Korean models and is fantastic quality in very good nic. Probably know the blurb but it is:

    5 string, 35" scale
    Maple neck
    Natural finish
    J MM pickup setup (Barts)
    3 band EQ
Coil selector for MM (neck - MM - bridge)
Comes with black scratch plate but it is not screwed on, held in by friction. No chance of it falling off but means the bass is unmarked beneath.

Looking for £750 +p&p which is what I paid for it (from Thornybank (Chris) on here last September)

  4.
Ad, the best match I've found is the Barefaced Midget. That angry 1x12 sound complements the Terror Bass buzz-saw tone really well. I did a 3-set gig on Saturday night using that combination, and my P-basses have never sounded so good.

Compact? Most people think it's my personal monitor and ask "Where's your cab?". :)

So long as your next gig doesn't clash with mine, you're welcome to borrow it for a night if you want.
Terror Bass + Midget = Awesomeness! It is a fact.

  5.
very often "can they use your gear?" questions are retorical ones, IME.
I've said no before. Playing with a crappy emo/hardcore punk band once and the guys asked in advance could they use my amp and cab and I said no. I aint entrusting my expensesive electronics to someone who is potentially a hamfisted imbecile!

  6.
Are low riders more zingy? I presumed they'd be more thumpy and ermm low
the Lo refers to the high tension design allowing you to achieve very low action without fret buzz. I finf the nice and punchy without too much brightness, edgier that roto nickles though
