  1. I rang the shop to discuss a Genzler preamp that was looking available on the website but in the end was out of stock… In fairness to Marcus he was extremely helpful despite the fact that he sounded busy and under pressure. I ended up buying a Starlifter instead and he very kindly put it on next day delivery for me so that I will have it for the weekend.

I also spoke to Mark earlier in the week about the super pre… again super helpful!

  2. Line 6 Helix LT in near perfect condition with Protection racket soft case also in near perfect condition.

Awesome array of sounds and effects with a nice clean DI out.
Great for going direct to FOH, recording or spicing up you amp…

Less than 12 months old, I bought it brand new from PMT in January. Happy to supply the original receipt.

Latest software installed and full reset carried out.

Collection from Leicester prefered but I do have the original packaging so I can post special delivery.

It has only ever done church gigs and has been pampered… as is all of my gear!

    Not looking for trades

I’m very happy with my roasted pine American Pro II Jazz V. Light weight, balances nicely and sounds good. Worth investigating. Pictured here with my Xotic Jazz V, which is also light.

Thanks for that, I have asked Anderson’s to weigh the ones that they have there to see if they might be suitable

You can order a Sandberg TT5 as a passive Superlight. Or find a used one and make it passive.

The active one I had was under 7lb.

Am I right in saying that BD are the only Uk distributor for the SL basses.

Yours was a sweet looking instrument… I was very close to pulling the trigger on that!

Wry lovely! There is one of those on the sale section at the moment I think…

I have been looking at @Owen L1000… The colour is the only thing that has me on the fence… Having said that it would likely look great on stage!

I don't have any experience of them but they seemed to be well regarded. Have you tried any of the Ibanez range?

Alternatively, with a £2K budget @Andyjr1515 could build you whatever you want (if he isn't already inundated).

I do like the look of some of the Ibanez stuff… maybe I should get down to guitar guitar and check some out…

The SR5005 looks gorgeous but they seem to come in quite heavy…

  8. As the title says… Do any of you have any suggestions for a nice light weight passive 5 string? Preferably jazz style but poss precision as well, maybe even something a little different…

cost wise probably around £2k… ish, will probably sell my Sadowsky modern to fund it

  9. How many years on BC and I didn’t even know this thread existed😂

Am looking forward to guesting at my old church tomorrow in the city centre, should be  pretty cool. Awesome group of musicians and a massive p/a system🥰

They have chosen Firm foundation as one of the songs, sounds like it has some pretty cool fills and slides to have some fun with!

Have any of you guys used that song?
