Selling my Ampeg SVT CL as I've blown money on other things and need to redress the balance! In great condition, all original. Vietnamese made (but we've all established that makes little difference). A couple of small marks here or there but nothing detracting. Classic Ampeg valve sound. Collection from Farnborough, Hampshire (J4 M3) or can courier if you're insane. Cash on collection. Will accept partial trades for Crown XLS power amps, SVT Pro's, Portaflex, Peavey, old GK, Traynor or Acoustic heads. Have been after an SVT410HLF too (busted speakers not an issue). Nice USA vintage bass here. It's got a couple if issues: The phase switch was dead when I got it so I removed it (it was useless anyway, no one uses that pos) and the pickup selector switch is also non original. You can get replacements on eBay though. The neck pickup surround is a little broken but nothing worth worrying about. Also, There is a hairline split in the back of the neck that looks very old. I have had a luthier check it and he says it's nothing to worry about. Sounds worse than it is. Doesn't bother me as the neck is sturdy as **** anyway. That all said I'd like to see £375 as-is. The rosewood fretboards are pretty rare over here so the price is a touch higher than normal. If it had been maple it'd probably be 40-50 quid less. I'll also throw in an unused tort guard for an extra tenner if you want it. Will ship at cost. Or collection from Farnborough, Hampshire. No rush to sell.

I just found one on eBay that sold for over £400 so I'll keep this as priced.

I've decided that I can't get on with the Beta 15 I put in one of my SVT-15's. The other one I have in the stack is loaded with a Delta 15 and I like it heaps better. Beta has only seen a few hours home use, nothing heavy-going. So, anyone fancy a swap? (plus a touch of cash your way). Trying to avoid evilbay. I'm located in Farnborough, Hampshire...happy to travel a little bit of distance.

Will consider basses and other stuff as partial trades towards this if you like (fakenbacker, peavey, jazz-style, etc)

Need to make some room as my amp collection is silly. I got this weird British-made old late 70's / early-80's head a while back. 120w but loud for it. Weirdly huge amount of low-end in this thing too. Runs down to 4 ohms and has one of those groovy VU meters on the front. The 'Distortion' is crap but if you push the whole thing, it has a really knarly grind to it. Couple of scratchy pots, but only when you move them. Anyway, pics: I guess it's worth what it's worth. Would consider trades, pretty much up for most things but have simple tastes. Could do with a cheap backup bass or OD/Fuzz boxes, also, nice preamp tubes for my SVT-CL. Try me.
