Not sure I like the inlay, but the blue and maple is a winning combo.

Wow. Some amazing stuff and really good prices. I'm going to have to search the forums to investigate all the import tomfoolery, see if it's worth doing.
...mind you, that Warwick "W" bass is horrendous.

But how else will we know you're playing a Warwick...? -
Just thought I'd mention for anyone interested, I saw this in the flesh as it's currently back at The Gallery and it's a stunning instrument!

I'm pretty sure your claro will equal if not better chris's (if that's even possible! I love that bass)

It certainly looks like it will blow mine away, that's for sure! I look forward to seeing the end product... Although who doesn't? -
Man, that's gonna look stunning. Here's my body, untouched, next to the finished thing. Now imagine how good yours will look...!

Lovely stuff. Definitely interested in your thoughts on the preamp as well!

G&L L-2500 Tribute is an obvious choice if you prefer a lot of wood under your hands. If you're looking for something more streamlined, as skej said, Ibanez all the way.

Remember seeing that at least year's show. Stunning instrument in the flesh and very unique finish too, congratulations on getting hold of it!

Bought a pedal off Alex following his response to my wanted ad. Came next day, can't say fairer than that. Thanks again!

Bump!

Might have had buckeye on my own Alpher if I hadn't spotted a prettier top... I think it'll look truely fantastic once they've properly sanded and oiled it up. Looking forward to more pics!

And a lovely maple neck out of nowhere! Not a MM fan myself, but that looks (and probably sounds) brilliant.

Thought I'd share this fantastic video I came across from two masterful bass makers! Bit of contreversey in there too...

I used the Ultimate Support ones just fine.

That's why you can never be dissapointed with a custom build!
-
Stunning instrument. Definitely under-priced by the looks of things as well.
-
Excuse my ignorance, as I've no first-hand experience of Gibson's and Thunderbird's but can't you get so much more for £1,900 when looking elsewhere?
-
Don't tease us... Pictures of the bass please! (Only because I know it looks awesome )
-
What a special instrument, good luck with the sale.

Cleaning my bass is indulgent for me...
I love the look of my freshly waxed Alpher and I give it a once over with the wax every time I change strings.
Which endorsed players are big enough to sell (large quantities of) equipment...?

Actually, that's a good point. I don't really listen to that genre of music... but a bass player mate of mine, who I hadn't spoken to in ages talked about this guy using Dingwall... and how great it sounded with (I think he said this) some Darkglass fx - so I guess he noticed!

Adding on from this, I reckon it's the signature sound of the player that really pushes the sales more than anything else, especially in the rock/metal side of things. Fieldy from Korn and his Ibanez K5 comes to mind as well!
