  1. I might regret this..... Up is my beloved 1978 musicmaster. I'm just simply not using it as much as it deserves to be used, and the bass count is up to 15... so it's time for a cull. This is a great example in 8/10 condition with a couple of era appropriate knocks, but nothing major. It has has an Aero Pickup added to offset the usually weak stock pickups. It sounds open and full as it should. It also has Dunlop strap locks and is currently strung with Newtone Shorties to get the tension back up. As with all my basses it's had some tour and studio use but has been looked after and regularly set up by a pro tech. It's a cracking example of a great short scale Fender, with all the vintage mojo. You can hear it here: https://youtu.be/1UWMVVm1Zks?si=EjpDrzeYzISZ888H Based in Liverpool but travel a lot so meet ups are easily doable. I do also have a sturdy bass box so shipping is an option.
  2. Up is a great example of a Matsumoku built Pro 2 cardinal. Condition is 7/10 and has been professionally set up. The sunked metal bridge gives it crazy fundamentals and sustain, and the pickups are open with plenty of power, I particularly love the bridge pickup. Based in Liverpool but meet ups are doable. I do also have a box so shipping is possible. I'm having a huge thin out of my basses and just cant justify keeping it despite its mojo. Any questions drop me a DM!
  3. This is still here! So open to offers and trade/part ex for 2025!
  4. It is a corker. If I didn't have my sights on something else I'd be keeping it!
  5. His groove is just killer. I was fortunate enough to see him with The Fashion Bruises after the Humanoid album, it was in manchester academy 2 and there was about 50 people there, all 4 of them on stage were so so good
  6. Ahhh Jarod Lawson!! A friend burned me a CD of Jarrod and some Ole Borud stuff years ago and it was all great, some of the tunes on it I've struggled to find on streaming platforms. I think a deep dive a relisten is in order!
  7. Reviving this to add my love. He's one of my favourite artists, I've seen him several times in several set ups/line ups and every time he's been utterly killer. His Walk With Me live album is easily one my desert island disks. Met him a couple of times at shows too and he seems like a great guy
  8. Hello! A drummer friend has just very kindly given me an old Encore P. I actually love the trans blue finish, and it doesn't play to bad either! I already have 2 P's and I've got a fair bit of time on my hands, I was just after some inspiration for anything cool I could do with it! Obviously easy ones are BEAD or even a tent tuning. But just wondering if anyone's got any cool ideas. I'd love to do T Bird thing with it!
  9. My dad's a blue, so it's no surprise I'm leaning towards the Lakland
  10. Hadn't even thought of that 🤣🤣🤣 gotta be civil in Liverpool!
  11. Hey! Up is 2 fantastic jazz basses. I csnt decide which to keep, so they're both going up, whichever goes first I'll keep the other! I'm leaning towards the Lakland but I love them both for different reasons. No1. Fender MIM Deluxe This has been coverted to passive and has top quality components, has recently had a full proffessional rewire and set up by my tech. Condition is 8/10 Looking for £500 No.2 Lakland 55-60 This is just a cracking bass, presented as stock, if youre into 35" scale this is a beast. Condition is 7/10 with a couple of big chips around the back. Looking for £800 I travel alot so meet ups are doable. I do have a bass box at the moment so shipping is an option at cost. Any, questions, give me a shout! Cal
  12. Would love to get this gone this weekend
  13. Weekend bump! Would love to get this gone this weekend
  14. I'm driving from Liverpool to Brighton this saturday 7th Sep. So drop offs to a large part of the country are doable, and I'd happy do a good deal for a quick sale.
  15. Hey guys! You know the one, small, lightweight but packing serious tone and proper ceramic speakers. These combos are legendary for the right reason, this rig has mostly lived in my studio and has been recorded a fair bit but has not seen much gig action. Condition overall is fair, and of course it's in full working order, and sounds mega! I unfortunately need to gather some cash so it's got to go. I am based in Liverpool but travel a lot so meet ups are doable - I am travelling to Brighton on Sat 7th so passing a lot of the country and happy to do something for a quick sale.
  16. Still up, and looking for a quick sale. Send me your offers!
  17. Hey! You know the one! This is offered in great condition, recently serviced by Studiocare. I sadly need to raise some cash so having quite a cull of bass gear. This is a really great sounding and usefull unit, with so many switching/routing options and a really stellar preamp. As for quality, It will outlast most of us I'm sure. This is priced to sell and includes UK shipping. Photos to be added tonight

  21. It's my birthday next week.... if its still here I might have to have a play
  22. Love bit of kit. Just to add to previous, my most common studio rig atm Is 2 Camden 500's. One taking a REDDI and the other a clean parallel. The camden preamps are stupidly good, at any price point. The face they're affordable too is amazing.
  23. Hey! Really need to get this gone, as the tax man has royally lubed his rubber glove
