51 or 55P paisley finish top and bottom and a 64 Jazz Burgundy Mist Metallic for me :-)

I saw them in 1979 at the Students Union Bar at Wolves Poly. Seem to remember that they helped the beer go down all night :-D

GAK are having just one in and I've just reserved it :-) ETA July. My google search revealed 3 sellers and one of them had one in stock. The other said it was possible to order.. Might be worth a bell if you are after one :-)

I wouldn't mind doing a part time qualification on a weekend for the fun of it and to learn some stuff but it seems the nearest is BIMM Brighton and that is an afternoon and a Saturday. I did one grade and found that it was stunting my progress.

I've also got a MIK Pro Star Bass he says very smugly :-)

Ooh they look good. I tried the sponge from a dish pad today cutting off the green stuff..it was ok for the E and A strings but needed cutting down on the others which were choked

Got to say that the set up on 2 Mexico fenders I've got was far superior to my American Standard P. Going to take that on for a professional set up soon. Never been able to get the correct intonation on all frets on the E
