1. Just bought a set of Fender Vintage re-issue machine heads from Paddy for my P-bass project, great communication, shipped quickly and well packaged.
Highly recommended!

Someone here used super glue, a little but not too much in case you need to replace in future.

Mighty Mite necks are well worth a look too.

+1 to this, fantastic necks at around £105, there's a guy (Dave) on eBay who gets hold of them every month or so and you get a choice of what Fender decal you want on it at no extra cost.

PM me if you want his email address.

4. You can't go wrong with a wiring loom from KiOgon, I've bought about 4 off him over the past year, top quality and no soldering involved!!

Oddly enough I've almost finished a re-work of a black Squire P-Bass, turning it into a 59(ish) with Mighty Mite Maple neck, Gold scratch plate, vintage BBOT (KiOgon loom :)) and custom wound vintage pickup.Just deciding if to add vintage tuners.

Easy one:
Superlux HD681 monitor headphones. Best bang for [s]buck[/s] quid.

At you recommendation I bought a pair of these off Amazon, well chuffed and the quality of sound is outstanding.

Cheers

6. I feel really old now reading this  Was bottle fed on the Beatles then Hendrix, cream, Purple........

My 10 year old son loves the old rock stuff (Cream, Free, Purple) but won't admit it to his mates at school because it ain't cool liking your oldies music.

ELO, great band have nearly all their albums, Eldordo being my fave.
