1. Anth bought a P bass body and associated hardware from me, great comms and instant payment as always.

Great bloke and a total pleasure to deal with as always.

    Cheers :)

  2. I've owned 2 Rics over the years (a 64 and 74), both were okay.

I don't think there's anything wrong with them (Rics) I just couldn't get on with the necks with my sausage hands.

I ran mine thought Orange Amps and Cabs and they did sound good. I do agree that they are a little over priced but If people are still willing to buy them at these prices, then the prices won't drop.

I like Fenders but not everyone likes them for one reason or another, It's all down to personal choice in the end.

  3. Bump and a few specs for the combo

     Product Description

The Bassman 150 combo is a small package that delivers huge tone! Its tilt-back design allows for better signal monitoring in close quarters. A Fender Special Design Eminence USA speaker ensures great tone for practice, rehearsals, live gigs, and studio recordings. You won't believe your ears!

  4. Hi All

Due to my aging bones I'm selling my Fender Bassman 150 combo with 12" Speaker and horn and get something I can cart around more easily.

This combo is in excellent condition and has a wonderful tone to it.I even have the original Instructions for it.

    £[s]190[/s] [s]£180[/s] £170 and prefer collection (Portsmouth).

  5. Got these about a year ago for a custom 58 P-bass I put together, have since replaced them with some vintage fender 58 PUPS.

These are really nice and had a few comments on the lovely sound at both high and low tone levels.

The specs are Alnico 5, 42 AWG enamel wire, 10.7k output and have waxed cloth wiring shield.
