Hi
Have a Squire Affinity P bass body (alder) In good condition, a couple of dings the worst being just up from the strap retainer on the back (see photo) but it's not down to the wood.
Comes with original wiring harness and pots (earth cable present not not attached to harness) but no pickups. Also included, original Bridge, scratch plate and domed knobs.
I will also add the squire neck plate and screws.
£45 + Postage (collection welcome).

Bought a Classic Vibe P-bass body from Dunc, received quickly and as described great comms, great guy to deal with.
Cheers

I can play it at a reasonable speed but once I start thinking about what I'm playing, all goes to Rat sh*t.
I believe he (Norman) got the inspiration for it after watching Jaco in concert? -
Totally agree, you've made the right choice by getting off the bus(es), you can now wait for one that's going in your direction.

Thanks Scott I really like your vids, you make it so easy to understand.

Hi
Whats the width of the neck pocket on the body?
cheers -
Interesting topic this.
I've only started playing again 3 years ago after a 30+ year break due to the x-wife putting the pressure on to quit. Re-married about 12 years ago and the wife doesn't mind me playing the bass each night etc. so that's cool.
I'm currently in a "Part Time" band as we practice once every other month and probably do 2 gigs a year. So most of my time is spent learning songs I like and trying to improve my theory which was always lacking,
Out of Interest I'm doing the Rock school Grade 4 exam in March to see where I'm at, plus it's something to focus on.
I really do like playing along to music I like and also trying to write my own stuff and record it onto PC which is always great fun. -
great site you'll have lots of fun. -
Always thought Sting did very simple lines in the Police songs but they were so effective and catchy.

I've always loved this, very Bob Marley though

Love the new avatar, In his new film he plays a P-bass for a few moments, I wonder if he is a closet bass player?
Thought you'd have him playing bass in your ultimate band -
Yes, Merry Christmas to one and all, may your day be filled with love and happiness .

Went to see the Blockheads tonight primarily to see the legendary Norman for the first time and..... he's not there
To say I'm disappointed and P*ssed off is an understatement, probably wont get another opportunity to see him play locally again.
I've since found out he's probably playing tonight with Wilco at a gig in Chelmsford and whilst I fully understand why he's there supporting his mate at this difficult and very sad time which I totally respect him for and I don't have a problem with that in any way.
I'm just really Peeved that there was no prior notification that he wouldn't be appearing as I wouldn't have bought tickets or wasted my money on taxi fares etc.
Probably get flamed to hell for this, but have to vent off my anger and disappointment.
I need a few beers!!!!!
