1. I had a good laugh last time and met some cool people, so although I don't have much to show off I may drive up and swoon over some other people's stuff.

Now if I could just find someone near Leeds with a Spector Euro 4-string so I could try before deciding whether to buy Warwickhunt's, my forum experience would be complete. :)

Can you break the connection again and put the price back down? I have a soldering iron. :)

  3.
Let's hope you don't leave it too long!
AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
If the prices go the way I think they will people will look back and say 'I really should have grabbed that one'.
I've done that more than once with these already, it's the price rises that have already happened that have put me off the ones that are now called cheap!! :)

  4.
Is it any greater of a temptation @ £650 and that includes case, straplocks, a set of gold coloured knobs (quality ones not naff alloy) along with the standard ones AND delivery?
It's getting extremely close to being too good to refuse. :)

  5.
Not a problem :)

I've a Mum who's nearly ninety and won't notice, and a daughter who earns a sight more than me and will just say 'Oh Dad!'
I live with my brother who earns much more than me and to whom I owe money for utility bills etc, so there was no chance I was going to get off so lightly.

  6.
I've been following this and other Spector threads with my Spector GAS snowballing!

Chatting to Alan, John and others it seems like the whole package in terms of Eronomics, tone and build quality is just what I'm after. A Warwick style NT in a quality that Warwick I think have lost.

Despair, the reasonable prices of late with Sound Control going down have all shot up to between £898 and £1099

Then, courtesy of Sean I was pointed towards a Black Cherry EuroLX4 and although it was priced initially at £899 a double check revealed the correct price to be £599.

    Guess what?

    Wednesday.

Good choice. I was readying funds for that one myself, thank you for saving me from ruining my family's Christmas!!! :)

  7.
I know of a black cherry Euro 4LX that is one of the last SC liquidation ones that is going very cheap. Thanks to WH's fabulous networking to fins a blue one, I managed to hear about this other one. Let e know if anyone's interested.
Hmmm...intrigued PM sent! :)

  8.
I was told that they have stopped by a Reverb store this afternoon. No details given just that they don't expect the situation to last long once people start shouting.
Fair enough. That's weird because Reverb are Arbiter, so they were already giving themselves preferential prices on Spector.

There's no announcement been made to the trade press, which is usually where this sort of rumour ends up first.

  9.
I think they're with Aribter unless something's changed.
It hasn't :)

  10.
Apparently Spector are no longer being distributed in the UK. Reverb have a few Euros left at a reasonable price but nothing like what what was being offered in the summer.
I think they're with Aribter unless something's changed.

  11.
Possible, complicated three way trade solution. If you can get a trade for a Jap Jazz or something in that line then you could trade that for my SR900. If that makes any sense let me know. If not have a bump anyway
Sounds intriguing .... how about you trade me straight for the SR900 and you then trade it for a J? :)

Will let you know if I come up with anything.
