  2. What hard case would this ship in? Is it a Warwick/Rockcase one or something generic?
  3. I notice a couple of people have described the sound of this bass to be naturally bright, aggressive and 'Spector-like'. I wondered what it was like in the low end department, as I've generally found Barts to be quite dark, thumpy and with good low end. Do the Barts tame some of the inherently bright sound of the hard body? I guess what I'm saying is it possible (using the EQ probably) to get thicker, dare I say more vintage tones out of this bass? I've found Streamer LXs to be my go-to gigging basses for the last few years in covers band as I can pretty much approximate most bass sounds (old and modern) with use of the EQ, pickup balance and playing technique. Would this Ltd Streamer be as versatile or have a particular overriding character that is ever-present? Sorry for the waffle - hope this makes sense
  4. I'm guessing that your spec list was provided by Warwick HQ on submission of serial no? If so it looks like everything is still as 'stock'. That right? Is the vol knob push/pull for active/passive switching?
  5. What's the neck profile like on this bass? Is it typical of the 90's slimmer profile necks? I've got 1997 and 1999 LX's with wenge necks which have a much slimmer profile than the 2000s ovangkol necks. Would you say that the neck profile on this one is comparable in shape to my 90s LX's?
  6. No worries Daryl, I understand. I just live over 200 miles away, but really like the look of your bass
  7. Hi Daz Nice bass! Is this for collection only, or would you be prepared to courier/post within the UK? Cheers
  8. Thanks mate, that's good to know. I was specifically looking for a USA Fender Jazz 5 string this time around, but the Rockbass looks really nice! I won't be making any final decisions until around a week or two though, so please don't hang around for me Cheers
  9. Hi mate, nice looking bass. Would you be prepared to post/courier it within the UK?
  10. Hi. Nice bass. A few questions please: 1. Is the case an official Spector one, or generic? 2. Did you (or your luthier/tech) upgrade the pickups and electronics, or did you buy the bass with the upgrades already in place? 3. Is it currently wired for 9V or 18V operation? Ta.
  11. Hi. Nice bass! Couple of questions please: 1. Rebops normally come with passive EMG-HZ pickups. Did you or a luthier/tech upgrade to active EMGs? If so what type are they i.e. 35DC, 35P, 35J etc? 2. Does this come with a gig bag or case of any kind. Ta.

  16. Thanks for getting back. For a possible trade would you be looking for a 5-string?
  17. You mentioned trade again a few days back. What would you consider for a trade? What is it about the Streamer LX5 that isn't for you?
