All this chat about it being a narrow nut...I have huge hands yet have no issues with mine (which is weird, -'different strokes' etc).
Being a predominately Flats player I swapped out the Roundwounds for a set of LaBella Low Tension Flats which work OK although there are a couple of positions on the neck where the notes seem to disappear, I may have dropped the action down a bit too low? Regarding the presets there are tangible differences with the pickup position knobs and when the series is engaged, less so in a band situation re the tone settings I find. However I find it great for Open Mics and Jams when you walk in with a guitar sized case and they say 'we really need a bassist'....!
To conclude, I was lucky enough to get get the Nordy Mute with mine which can give quite an upright sound if used economically.

Please refrain from any comments which the MODS will use to close down this thread.
Personally I think he's up there with Don Partridge (ask your Grandad) and Seasick Steve.
Just noticed, is that a cut down sock over the microphone?

I'd limit anyone washing my truss rods to around 5'6'' and only to use a barely damp cloth...

Oh so quick to criticise, I bet none of you could produce and damage such a unique Bass and have time to author 3 bestsellers?
I think the bass guitar buying public have missed a trick here, it was photographed in September 2021 and yet has still not sold......

It's not clear from the original post by Barefaced if it was stolen from them or a customer. This might help in spotting it in the local Crack Converters.....

Re the new series of MB cabs, they are so new very few have had a chance to try them: the cabs are now very very light and the choice seems to be neo or ceramic speakers with different costs accordingly.

My experience when changing pickups has been the wires were just copper coated with plastic and no third layer which would have had to be metal based.

Messaged the guy when I seen it on Gumtree a few days ago. Told him that in my opinion it was an old Made In India Sunn/Mustang P bass copy. Sometimes they are Encore brand. Not the worst bass guitars as many folk on here will know! But yes around £450 way off the mark price wise! Needless to say........
Good spot, that would at least explain the bullet truss adjuster.

I have to be really careful about this… One of my hobbies is model painting (I have to build them as well, but it’s the painting that I really enjoy), and I am a “brush licker”. A horrible habit that is used to reshape the brush. I also often use my mouth like a third hand, using it to hold things (like the other end of the brush, screws, nails, sometimes even scalpels…). I am fortunate enough to have managed to avoid sticking my soldering iron in my mouth, but only because I have caught myself as I was about to do it, more than once!

Very sad news, he was a lovely guy. I heard earlier today from The Rev's post. Still trying to take it in.
